How man of you guys plan on seeing AOTC at the IMAX theater this November?

I guess the subject speaks for itself. I'm planning on going, if I can get my mom to take me. The theater is like an hour and twenty minutes away. Hopefully though.

Na. If its not widescreen and digital then its not worth it. Imax is just like watching a big TV.

Yep, same here ... I have an IMAX theatre 15 mintues away but sadly AOTC IMAX won't come to Europe!

 

And besides it has over 20 minutes of footage cut from it!

 

So if it follows the trend of the DVD they'll have cut the Geonosis Battle and duels and kept only the scenes with Padme in them.

I'd like to, but at the moment it's more of a matter of whether it will still be in IMAX theatres come Thanksgiving and where I'll be at the time. If I don't go up to Chicago/Milwaukee, I'll probably watch it at the IMAX in Tulsa. If I do go up north, well I'll have to see if it's playing close by up there.

There's actually an IMAX right near where I live, but there not showing it there. It's not fair. Oh well, I guess I'll just watch it on dvd.

I know that they cut 20 mins. and I don't care... I just want to see the final battle on Geonosis, and I don't think they would have cut that part...

Unfortuanately not. Time and money (or lack of therein) prevent me from doing so, though I'll probably rent or buy the DVD.
