Ok i wanted to do this for some time now,

 

I think the swamp needs a word of the day thread.

 

I love unusual and funny words so lets get it on!!!

 

We shall need an impartial judge, which is way beyond my capability.:confused:

 

my first nomination is :-

 

BIFFIN

 

(a biffin is the bit of skin between your bum and your nuts)

The word should be:

 

Spartan

DEFINITION: austere, severe, grave; simple, bare

EXAMPLE: The athlete's room was spartan, containing nothing but a bed and a pair of dumbbells.

SYNONYMS: disciplined, restrained, frugal, courageous, laconic

my high school mascot was teh Spartan.
