white dragon, loves to me tolkien geek..:nutz1:

o and a quote from fotr

The sword of elendil was forged anew by elvish smiths, and on it's blade was traced a device of seven stars set between the crescent moon and the rayed sun, and about them was written many runes; for aragorn son of arathorn was going to war upon the marches of morder. very bright was that sword when it was made whole again; the light of the sun shone redly in it, and the light of the moon shone cold, and its edge was hard and keen. and agargorn gave it a new name and called it anduril, flame of the west.

it talks about how the sword that was once broken being forged again. anyway, lets not go any furter, start this arguement in another thread....

There is a picture of Arogorn's Sword after the battle at Amon Hen. That is right before he tells Gimli and Legolas to take only what they can carry because they are going to hunt some Orc.

Aragorn does not take Narsil with him at Rivendale. He uses his own sword.
