Gabrobot Posted November 21, 2002 Posted November 21, 2002 hmm, http://www.lucasarts.com/products/indiana/screens.jsp?num=40 Quite interesting, eh? Looks great!
JR2000Z Posted November 22, 2002 Posted November 22, 2002 I never would of thought it would become a first person shooter too. It uses the Buffy the Vampire Slayer engine - but I'm not sure if that game uses 1st person also. If not, they've really been working on the engine.
Gabrobot Posted November 23, 2002 Author Posted November 23, 2002 I was quite surprised as well. It makes sense though, shooting is more fun/easy in a 1st person view, but with the 3rd person view the fist-fights/whip-action/jumping works out better. This game may turn out as good as the original Jedi Knight! Okay maybe not...
SamNMax Posted December 10, 2002 Posted December 10, 2002 I don't think it's first-person. In some third-person games have car missions and they are mostley in first-person.
Katarn07 Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 That's exactly what it is! I believe you to be in a sidecar of a motorcycle going through the streets of Hong Kong.
Hoowl Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 Well now you can take a better look with the movie clip thats been released.
Bob Gnarly Posted December 18, 2002 Posted December 18, 2002 what kindof guns do you think it will have.....the wip should look cool
Gabez Posted January 5, 2003 Posted January 5, 2003 The gus will probably be much the same as in Infernal Machine, but we'll see. It would be nice if Indy had some kind of exotic weapon he could us, y'know? Like a magic item or something. That screenshot looks nice. Interesting font their using. Kind of like the adventure font, but more... ragged.
Tall Guy Posted February 3, 2003 Posted February 3, 2003 not sure i like the idea of a fps version, interesting tho.
Lord Fergie Posted February 8, 2003 Posted February 8, 2003 I think it is pribably going to be like JKII. Where the fist fights in sp the gun in fp, but you can change it where it is all Second person
Mex Posted February 8, 2003 Posted February 8, 2003 I've been looking forward to this game, and I visit the Lucasarts website regulary to check for new screenshots. I really hope that this game will be a success.
Lemon Head Posted February 9, 2003 Posted February 9, 2003 I don't think he should have any magic items, I think that indy should be based in a more realistic world which is why the Temple of Doom is my least favourite of the trilogy.
Lord Fergie Posted February 9, 2003 Posted February 9, 2003 That's why Last Crusade is my favorite "Indy I think they got us" "Didn't have a Passport"
