Feral
The topic is self-explanatory; what makes your spine chill when you think of it? For me, it's Stephen King's "The Shining"; both the psychological horror of the book, which is one of the best piees of literature I've ever read, and the spooky imagery of the film. Kjølen
Well death or death of a loved one always gets me, but just noticing your about to gett in severe trouble always makes my body temp rise INSTANTLY. I mean INSTANTY. What makes my body temp drop instantly, oi... scratching a chalkboard or hearing it. Even now as i pretend to hear it. Grrr. Al-back from the BigWhoop
well, in horor movies, when one looks at a mirror or water and sees the reflection of some creppy thing, and then he/she turns around and theres nothing. thats a classic, and kinda overly used nowadays, but still... btw- Originally posted by Natty The air conditioner- its about 33oC outside so the a/c is on but coz it's right behind me I'm getting a chill down my spine lol

Joshi
actually it's quite simple, i was talking about the fact that i would get afraid if ever i feared anything, as i do not fear anything (i know, now i'm sounding pompus). quite frankly, fear is a state of mind, and quite frankly, you are able to defeat it quite easily. therefore, if it were to come back, i'd wonder why, how and furthermore, i would be afraid. i know it's a viscious cycle, it's like asking someone who knows everything 'what the one question you cannot answer,' it cannot be answered by someone who knows everything. but quite frankly, i believe that there is nothing to fear but fear itself. i have never gotten vertigo in my life (and i've rock climbed to great hights), i used to be afraid of spiders until i realised how small they were, and things like ebars and lion, well, if ever confronted, i'd just act normally, as if they weren't there and slowly walk off. if that doesn't work, i'd take out my knife and get ready, but remeber to have nerves of steel, a steady hand is what wins the battle. if you guys don't buy that, then Al is right, i'm afraid of photos. Darth Eggplant
the fact that Lucasarts is working on MI5 when Grim Fandango is Obviously the better game.
Feral
While Grim Fandango is undoubtedly superior to EMI, GF is a completely standalone game and a sequel would destroy it's legacy. Ron Gilbert always wanted MI to be a series, though.
SamNMax
I would have to say birdeating spiders. They look like turantulas, but they're 8 inches. *Shudders*. I have iraqnaphobia, in case you were wondering.
Feral
I normally wouldn't point out spelling erors, but this one is too good to miss...iraqnaphobia? Fear of Iraq? You sure you don't mean arachnaphobia, fear of spiders? Because, you know, both are worthy phobias

NiKo
*rises up, wipes blood from nose* well, the ancient mayan civilizations believed that smoking will bring them closer to 'Toba-Ko', the cigarette God, so they attended rituals in which they smoked untill their lungs came shooting out their arses. then they would take those lungs and sacrifice them to Toba-Ko, and in return, he gave them candy...! At least I'd like to think so
