:eek: This is what i think should be in jedi knight III or a similar game :eek:

 

 

1) i think it should be much more concentrated on multiplayer

 

2) i think classic characters should be in the character list un modded characters such as darth vader and obi wan kenobi

 

3) i think you should be able to design characters without the use od mods so every player can see you

 

4) the dualbladed lightsaber should be available

 

5) a choice of saber hilts should be available

 

6) u should be able to pick up enemys lightsabers when u have killed them to allow double lightsabers

 

7) the lightsaber should be able to cut through certain walls and buildings and inflict much more damage upon opponents

 

8) every attack should be able to be countered or blocked

 

9) a team together or buddy mode should be introduced meaning if it isnt a team game u can still team together with certain people

 

do you like my ideas yes or no?

Like those ideas - except for...

 

1) I liked the SP bit the most. If anything, the AI for bots shold be closer to that of the SP Reborn and Stormies. The MP AI REALLY sucked.

 

Like the idea of the Saber and Force powers being more tools than simple novelties or weapons.

Sabers to gain access to areas by hacking doors and walls. Force Lightningt o give old doors one last surge of power to open. A burst of Force Push to break lights to darken areas.

 

But I would love it to be PURELY Jedi. keep guns to a minimum, but give greater range of force powers, and allow the your character to be created at the start.

 

So that you pick body, saber and stances, powers to start w/, and go from there. Kinda like an SP Never Winters.

And you pick your Jedi style - stealth, healer, saber master etc.

 

This way, your course through the game is different. A stealth Jedi would take the back door, a Saber master the front, a healer would help an injured person who would in turn help them through.

 

But even more than that - two campaigns than end in the two meeting... In other words, play through a seperate set of missions, w/ crossover, as a Dark Jedi.

 

Some of you may remember my work on a mod called Family Bond. that is what I am talking about.

 

And more of the AI teaming up like w/ Lando, Jan, Luke, Rebel troops - but better scripted and the ally w/ more AI. And the enemy not FOCUUSING on the ally (Ladder 2 players - Luke is the centre of attention when he appears, is he not...)

 

But as for storyline, after EpII, I think a clones storyline would be nice - perhaps the Imperial Remenat stumble across the Kamino Cloning Labs (The ocation of Kamino was scrubbed from the records once... Maybe it happened again later?)

 

Santa, for christmas, I want LucasArts to ask me to help w/ JKIII - I would make JKIII the ULTIMATE Star Wars game...

Here are my Ideas.

 

1) Dont play as kyle, hes getting a bit old also he would have to have some part of the storyline involving him loosing force powers.

 

2)If kyle is the main character, have a huge amount of force powers.

 

3)Lots of Sp and Mp

 

4) Dual, and Double bladed Lightsabers in Sp and Mp, somewhere you could purchase materials and using a new design system create lightsabers. Main point of game = design feature, drag and drop design system for creating saber hilts, and you choose the saber colour.

 

5) First few levels you could earn money somehow, the more you earn the better the saber you have. The better the saber, the harder to use, until trained more.

 

6) Ability to walk around Large citys with lots of civillians.

 

7) Multiple Endings, Good and Bad

 

8) Weapons that people would want to use.

 

9) Very realistic Dismemberment, one slice of a saber cuts through the model exacly where it appears to.

 

10) Rag doll body effects (Unreal Tournament 2003)

 

11) Realistic Star Wars weapons.

 

12) Very clever AI bots and npcs, can quickly block incoming saber attacks, with out damaging the character. Unlike with the cheat on JO when the character blocks but loses their arm.

 

13) Stamina bar for saber duels, when the stamina is low there is more chance of hitting the character.

 

14) And finally a story line worthy of the Star Wars name.

 

So what do you think?

I have a way to make the saber combat more realistic. When you get into saber range, the camera should zoom in a little so that it shows just you and the person you are up against, and they the controls shift (so that it is somewhat like a fighting game).

 

I have always had something of a problem with the realism of the saber combat. Everyone is always running around hacking and slashing like crazy. That's just not how the combat looks in Star Wars. Saber fights are calculated and artful, not frantic.

 

What do you think of my idea?

But the jedi in star wars that are fighting with sabers have been doing so since they were wee little lads.....i dont know about you, but i dont have that kind of time to invest in playing a video game ;)

What I think JO2:JK3:DF4 should do, to make itself different from the rest, is to use a new graphics engine, made from scratch, rather than the same rehashed Doom3/Unreal Championship(2003) engines that will be in every upcoming shooter game...

 

In essence most of the Q3A engine games look very similar except for different skins.......

hey ppl u got nuthing better to do but criticise the only reason i posted thes ideas was because i wanted ppl to add to them so we could come up with a perfect game to suggest to lucasarts and plus i think all of u would pay to see just a mp version if anyone has ever played americas army ops i mean like that now that would rule

No Kenobi or Vader, but we did get Boba Fett, Rebel Pilots, Snowtroopers, etc.

Sort of. We got the customizable characters ("Jaden").

Check! With a code this was possible in SP mode.

I assume he meant like GeoMod, so no. Though "more damage" yes, if you mean a hit to the head is more likely to kill and damage can be increased with cvars.

Theoretically this is true.

Not really. If you did this, you'd still be able to hurt each other.
