Katarn07
Early 90s. It had the guy from Pee Wee as one of the head Vampires...
Darklighter
The movie was actually rubbish. Nothing like the quality of the show anyways. Buffy is great, and Angel as well, the new series is going to start over here in a few weeks:D Anyway Greedo, what series are you on so far, and what episodes have you watched? mace_sundancer
buffy owns me it is one of the greatest television shows commited to...er...whatever they use... the musical episode is my favourite 'bury me in a hole 6 foot deep and let me REST IN PEACE!!!!! LET ME REST IIIIIN PEEEAAAACEEE!!!'
Jedi_Monk
Yes! The musical episode is awesome! I just got the "Once More With Feeling" CD for Christmas and I already have most of the songs memorized. Joss Whedon is just one of those rare creative geniuses who isn't afraid to push bounderies. The Hush episode and the musical episode are just two examples of his visionary courage. The series is without a doubt one of the best on TV, the highest quality. Ratmjedi
I watch the show on occasion to. I don't even know what the hell is going on. I do know who is who and what they do and a little bit of the plot but there is so much to follow. I have to say that my favorite chick is Willow. She's real awesome and a good actress. The movie was also ok too but you have to remember that it was made way before the series and actually gave birth to it so you guys should be gratefull that it was made. mace_sundancer
the movie was a bastard of the original storyline that joss wrote and basically the conceit of the show is that it's set after the events of the original screenplay, hence references to buffy burning down the gym at her school in LA even tho she didn't in the movie and the scene in becoming part 1 where angel sees buffy called and her watcher looks nothing like the dude who was her watcher in the film... Acrylic
I never saw the show or movie, but it looks so stupid, I like cartoons and reality Tv....its good stuff.
-s/<itzo-
the movie was good in my opinion. and about the series, i barely watch it. i prefer Angel which is a show that branch off from Buffy. Angel is a much better show (entertain ment & story line wise) in my opinion.

C Shutt
I love it. It's smart, funny, brilliantly written and acted. Last season was below par, but so far this season has been excellent. CaptainRAVE
Well it was good until buffy died. They should have ended it then, but instead they kept on going and made a new, but awful series with her weirdly coming back to life!!!! (Another annoying thing was when they brought her sister which we had never seen before). I cant blame Sarah for not wanting to do another series :s. nova_wolf
Well, I have lost the plot - my gf is heavily into it and Angel. But I caught the musical episode, and want to know if anyone knows where I can get Through the Fire, cuase the first songs annoyed me, as they were intended I supose, but that track was awesome! C Shutt
There have been 133 episodes, and I've seen all of them at least twice, so "everything" is an awful lot. What specifically do you want to know?

Jedi_Monk
Loads of my friends, actually all I think, have stopped watching Buffy. Its not as good as it used to be. The last two seasons have been excellent; in fact, last season had my two favorite episodes ever, the musical one (best... musical... ever!) and the one where they all lose their memories (Spike thinks he's Giles' son named Randy--Randy?! Randy Giles!? Why didn't you just call me Shagging Giles?!--and when he finds out he's a vampire, he goes through Angel's spiel about being a good vampire dedicated to protecting people, blahblahblah... oh, and Giles and Anya think they're married). The Geek Squad also had a bunch of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings quips that practically had me rolling on the ground laughing! The Glory season I flat-out hated. I will not even watch any reruns from that season. Its only saving grace was Michelle Trachtenberg, who I've had a crush on since I was ten and she played Hariet in "Hariet the Spy".
