Green Lantern: His power ring is the most powerful weapon in the universe. Its green energy can be used to create almost anything. The ring used to have a weakness to the colour yellow, but I don't know if that's still the case.

Daredevil: Was blinded by a childhood accident, but his other four senses function at superhuman levels. He also has a kind of radar-sense which gives him awareness of his surroundings. Apart from his super-senses, he's pretty much a regular human, although he's a very well-trained acrobat and martial artist. Oh, and he has a club.

Silver Surfer: Was given control over the Power Cosmic (think Marvel Comics' version of The Force), which allows him to do pretty much anything. He's virtually immortal, has superhuman strength and speed, and can alter reality. He may be able to travel through time as well, I'm not sure. And he has a flying surfboard, hence the name.

He doesent have any weaknesses now. [i think]

I vote for the Green Lantern, he can make shields with his ring to keep away attackers, and he can make a bubble around him to make him invinceable.

even though he has the gayest costume out of the list, superman no questions ask.

if we're talking about one on one situation nobody from that list can stand a chance. i don't how you can comeout with that list.

the only person that has the best chance is probably silver surfer (with the infinity gauntlet). other than that, i think superman can beat them all in the same time.

there's alot more I could say on this, but I will wait until somebody wants to prove me wrong.

Superman, easily. He is practicly unbeateble, and even if some of the others bring Kryptonite, Superman is way too quick to be affected by it. And Spiderman has lots of weaknesses. For instance, he isn't invincible, and he is rather slow compared to many other super heroes. But we will never know who will win anyway, simply because they will never fight.

Well although technically not superheros there is going to be a film made due to the popularity of the games Alien vs Predator...now that would be interesting :). Its been argued over for years, neither side would let go of their licences...but at last it has happened :). It seems anyone will do anything for money these days .

Note: Thats my first  since I've been back. The older posters will know what I mean ;)

Wow, some interesting thoughts.....

I have to say I didn't think it out *that* carefully....

OK, I didn't really think it out at all balance wise.

SuperSuper Heroes like Silver Surfer are maybe at a bit of an advantage....and Superman without kryptonite around...

I was kinda imagining it from the view of a balanced version. If this was a game of some kind then it would have to be faily even to make it fun for example, so it would have to be balanced out somewhat. e.g., Surfer gets the board and all, but doesn't use instant kill everything powers....

Also, I meant the term fight to the death in more a "who would win a big punch up" rather than "who could rip all the others heads off", but thats open to your own interpretation :)

...And how did Q get into this...?!?! I mean....really....

I think I've devised a way to work out who would win scientifically, using a combination of precise judgements and hard headed logic. Basically, I play around with some representations of the super heroes made by me out of paper, and see what happens.

Exactly! Superman is near invincible and spider man can die form getting a really bad battering. :D Wolverine can be killed from killing him before he can heal.

Batman is a smart human with gadgets who's strong. ( just kill him :))

Who else was on the list?

I think one of the things that for me made Superman not as much fun to watch than say Spidey or Batman was that he was so damn powerful. Basically, anything that was a threat to him revolved in some way around kryptonite, which got very boring. The great thing about characters like Spidey is that they are extremely strong in some way, but they have numerous weaknesses. They can beat just about all their enemies, but their enemies have about the same chance as they do - it makes for some interesting stroylines. Superman always seemed to have the odds stacked in his favour big time.....

Spawn is dead though! He can run up to every one, get the crap beat outta him, but still just snap their neck and not be injured! Then when it comes to Superman, he'd conjure up some Kyrptonite with his hell-Spawn powers!

Someone please acknowledge this.

Superman is way too overated. After all, there seems to be a surplus of kryptonite in his world...

Actually, there are currently only two samples of kryptonite existing on Superman's Earth. Batman has one, the whereabouts of the other are unknown.
