Flying Beastie Posted January 16, 2003 Posted January 16, 2003 Gee, who could've seen this one coming?
GUNNER Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 So just what the heck is that "rate" button for. I hit it before but saw nothing happen.
Commander 598 Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 Hell, I can't even get the rate post thing to work! Much less abuse it.
Rogue Nine Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 I dunno what the hell it does either. I clicked it and got jacksquat.
GUNNER Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 I thought it was so you could rate the forum member and I wanted to rate you all a zero so I was bummed when I found out it didn't work.

Cmdr. Cracken Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 *looks at the button, shrugs, and takes a drink of Tequilla*
GUNNER Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 Originally posted by Rogue Nine Hey, that was my plan. Don't be stealing it now. Great minds think alike huh stallion. Crackin, put the bottle down and back away young man..
Admiral Odin Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 stupid minds also tend to think a like.....
Jabba The Hunt Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 by the looks of it the JavaScript function that calls window.open is being given too many parameters.
Gold leader Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 It calls "store.php". I guess the plan is to affect the other members points with it in some way. In this case I would say: "If it ain't right, don't fix it." Silly points. :atat:
Nute Gunray Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 i figured out how to get the rate thing to work i gave GL a point. see --> http://www.lucasforums.com/store.php?action=rate&postuserid=6843&postid=995531&postusername=Gold%20leader'
Gold leader Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 Ah I see. Thank you Nute, I approved your post and increased your treasury with one point.
Jem Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 Hey, that's an interesting link to know... *Starts manipulating URL* . . . *Finishes manipulating URL* http://www.lucasforums.com/store.php?action=rate&postuserid=6843&postid=995531&postusername=Nute%20Gunray
edlib Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 "Thanks for disapproving this post. You can close this window now."
Keyan Farlander Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 I can't believe you can directly cause a decrease in someone's points! This will either lead to disaster, or else everyone will just stop caring about it altogether.
Rogue Nine Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 People obviously don't like me because my point thing has dropped everytime I return. Not that I care much, but I can still track the little bastards down with the rate logs.
Gold leader Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 I foresee high point inflation, without a Point Fed to control the overall amount of points in circulation. Soon, an attachment will cost like 1000000 points. Or there will be a Point Deprecation every once in a while, as a witness of the Point Mismanagement.
Rogue Nine Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 I hate economics. Especially stupid economics that have to do with online points acquired so one can have his/her/it's online pseudonym made to be tackily colored.
