Pseudonym
The part where they're about to kill the main character; that was suspenseful.

Russ
Daniel. He and his three friends are true champions! Revalations is also pretty good. GOD RULES, HE IS THE KING OF ALL!
BCanr2d2
Not religious here, but would have to say that Revelations would have to be the best. Is the basis for many apocalyptic movies that we have....
obi
Ah, too much to choose from. One of my favorites would be the tale of Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego, found in the book of Daniel. King Nebuhkanezher(excuse the spelling, I am sure you understand;) ) enslaved many young men, and made them Unichs(look it up. Pretty gross). He wanted their complete loyalty. He had a 90x90 ft golden image created of himself, and said that he was God, and all should bow before the image, or be cast into a fiery pit. Everyone bowed; All but Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego. The king told them to bow, or else his sentry guards would throw them in. They refused again, choosing to believe the word of God. They were cast into the fire, and the King rejoiced. However, he sent one of his guards to check on them. When the guard got there, he called out to the king(not exact quote): "King, did we not throw THREE men in the furnace?" The king answered "Yes, Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego." "Well king," the guard anwered, "There are four men in the great fire, and none of them are injured. The three we have thrown in there are up and walking about the furnace; their binds have been cut, their limbs are intact; they are moving about!" The king was furious, and decided to check for himself. The guard was correct. The king immediatly had the three men pulled out. Were the fourth man went, no one knew. The king immidiatly changed his mind and decreed: "Let it be known, that whoever does not bow before the God of Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego, will be thrown into the fire!" So, I thought this story was awesome.

Rogue15
proverbs. as for story...Elijah was pretty cool. He angered the king, was fed by Ravens in the desert, mocked the false gods, and in the end, went out in a blazing chairiot of fire.
