TK-99 Posted March 11, 2003 Posted March 11, 2003 Dark jedi are you thinking of getting stormtrooper armor?
TK-99 Posted March 11, 2003 Posted March 11, 2003 well if you are its gonna be hard to find it, in real life of course but on the internet you can find al sorts of stuff
dark jedi 8 Posted March 11, 2003 Posted March 11, 2003 a lot of them at ebay are going for about $1,000. i talked to a guy with the 501st about it but he said if you buy them from someone, then you will pay around $800+.

swphreak Posted March 13, 2003 Posted March 13, 2003 I wanted to goto Celebration2 but I had school. Maybe I'll goto Celebration 3 for Ep 3. I'll be in College.
Purple_Tentacle Posted March 14, 2003 Posted March 14, 2003 Originally posted by Lynk Former No I feel ashamed to be human when I'm surrounded by too many geeks... Â sorry pal, but the people who DO NOT want stormtrooper armour are the new geeks. Â starwars rocks, you should have gone to the SW exhibition at the sydney power house, it was fantastic ! not really a convention but pretty good.
Darklighter Posted March 14, 2003 Posted March 14, 2003 Thousands, maybe millions of people go to Star Wars conventions all over the world. Sure must be a lot of geeks:rolleyes:... Â Though Lynk, last time I checked, this was a Star Wars forum, so there is likely to be people on here who attend stuff like that. And why should they be put down for something they enjoy? Â *shrugs*
Chewy25 Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 Ewoks and Yoda are one of the best creatures that were ever made on starwars. Just because there little doesn't mean that they can't open up a can of whoop lol.
Darklighter Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 I agree completely that the storm troopers just weren't trained against such primitive combat. All they have is a gun, and can't even shoot straight o.O Â I could never work out why the stormtroopers wore that armour though. I mean if the armour doesn't block blaster bolts, and they can't even see or move in the stuff, then wouldn't they be better off not wearing it?
dark jedi 8 Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 i thought they wore the armor to strike fear into their enemies. besides, it worked for the clone troopers!
TK-99 Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 no its just that thats the empires footman wear that uniform
Darklighter Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 Well, that still doesn't explain why they couldn't have all worn matching uniforms...would've made it a lot easier for them I think;)
TK-99 Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 but its like this: Commanders wear thier commander unforms and footmens wear thier stormtrooper uniforms and probably they get used to the helmets when there trying to see
dark jedi 8 Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 all officers wear uniforms when not in combat to. there the guys on the death star with black unis.
dark jedi 8 Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 i thought that the empire only had a navy and a form of special ops. troops posted on planets are just detachment crews from the navy, right? that's what i thought.
