Help CM stay afloat. New clans especially.

Hi everyone. My name is BigTeddyPaul and I am one of the leaders from Crimson Masters. We have been around for about 6 months now we need people to keep our clan. We have had the usual new clan thing. We have had about 35 members in all but we are only down until about 6 right now. We need people or else CM will be kaput. We are looking for the following:

ANYONE who is respectful

Must play saber and weapons

We will take anyone from anywhere. The only stipulation is you must be able to play so if you come from the UK or Hong Kong it does not matter as long as you make the matches.

Our clan is the usual: be respectful, no cheating, etc.

If anyone is interested please send me an Email at sexyprz@hotmail.com .

Have fun!

Yikes...you guys really had a drop in membership! Don't feel too bad though, the community is really fragmented now :( Kudos on you for trying to maintain your group, but perhaps you should think about integrating into another established jk2 clan. It would be better than disbanding. Like I always say, we should do everything to support the jk2 community and existing clanbase. Our jedi team has been fortunate in that we are part of IRON, a multi-gaming clan, so we have had rock hard stability ever since jk2 came out. Reptile IRON aka SuperLen

LFJA would gladly be allies with your clan. If you wanted to join with our clan, that would be fine too. KLM clan joined us a while back, and it's members are now LFJA. However, they still play with the KLM tag(that I last checked. It's been a while).

I await your response. ;)

When you say weapons and saber, what gametypes are you playing? For duel, we are NF saber but for our CTF team we are guns, saber and full force. We like to mix it up so that our members can enjoy a diversity of gameplay. If you are interested in checking us out, come by the site or catch us online this Thursday-we will be out in the community on duel public servers. Reptile IRON aka SuperLen

Long live CM. :(

The best thing to do is get out there an advertise. As Topshot said, the MSN Zone might be a good place to recruit people.

I've heard there's quite a few role-playing servers there, I'll have to take a look one day. ;)

Good luck with the clan, and don't give up. :)

Thanks for the support Hekx. :)

Good news:

CM does have a partially functional dedicated server. What I mean by this is that I can run one on my computer without really any hassle (besides from my mother) most of the time. It will become active anytime around 8 to 11 AM Pacific time and end ???? as long as I can keep it up that night. The latest will be about 3 AM Pacific. I believe it works because 3 different users at least tried to log on. I do not believe if they did successfully or not but they tried too. Also, since no one in CM besides myself can currently play on their computer there was no way to check the other day. Until people in my clan can play there is little reason for me to bring it up unless there is a request to do so.

Crimson Masters something or other

FFA or TFFA

Don't die, CM!

It's sad how things have turned out recently with you guys, did the clan you guys merged with go belly up? 'Tis a shame, wow things have changed since then for me in terms of experience when I was with you all. Well good luck to you and hopefully you guys'll pick up soon :)

a little wisdom i share with you. a clan is not made in numbers. its made in dedicated members. 3 ppl can make a kickass clan, it doesn't have to be 30 ppl. and btw the reason ur clan has flopped is cause you let ANYONE in.

I will agree about the dedication is the key. I have stated this to my clan mates, along with communication, since the very beginning. I do not agree with the letting in anyone comment though. Just who do we not let in? Noobs? I was once a noob. Now I am better with a saber and weapons than practically anyone I know. I very rarely meet anyone who is better than me with weapons and I can be bested in the saber by a decent percentage. Overall though I, please excuse the phrase, "own" with weapons and can hold my own with a saber. I have only been playing for a little over 6 months now too. Do you not let in people from other countries? The only stipulation in CM is that you can make the sessions on a decent basis. It does not matter if you live in England or Hong Kong. Who exactly do I not let in CM especially with all the booming demand for clans these days. To me 3 is not enough to make and continue with a clan. If one person cannot make it you are down to 2. CTF is no fun 1 vs 2. Same with TFFA. Some of those FFA maps are just too big for 3 people and it does get semi boring sometimes facing the same people over and over again.

Our clan has not fully flopped either. Yes we are facing a dilemma and some of us are wondering whether or not to continue with it. Our clan has lasted over 6 months which is a lifetime compared to some of these other clans. Our thread here is the 2nd most viewed (next to the clone troopers) and it is the most replied in for clans.

We have had many people come and go. Some members chose to leave us and go to Knights of Alderaan (Hi B and Hekx) because we would not switch over to just sabers. As I stated originally this clan was founded as a weapon and saber clan and will die as one or without me if push comes to shove. Same thing happend with Trickster a long time member who decided he needed a change. We have gained and lost recruits because they wanted to see if they wanted to be in a clan or not: Dracofyre, Solidious Snake, The Mule are just some of these people. We also have had people who have not been able to gain access to the internet. The main two that come to mind are one of our founders Kami and Phantom.

Basically I am sorry for opening up a clan that anyone can participate in based soley on their wanting to have fun. This clan has had major downsides and major highs. I have tried everything I can to get more people involved through playing random servers and saying advertising, posting here for some help from the community which I really haven't had either through small new clans trying to make it or new people wanting to taste in the fellowship of Outcast, to even learning how to make a site on geocities for my clan, AND MUCH MUCH MORE!

I am sorry that this went on a wee bit but I get a little hot under the collar when people tell me my clan has flopped.

I also must edit this in here. We even lost on of our founding members because he was getting married and felt like he needed to grow up. Jessman rocks.

I'd say the same thing about our clan not flopping. This clan HAS had upsides and downsides.

I'm getting some practice in when it comes to sniping off people (I really need to work on that, being BigTeddyPaul can outsniper and outsaber me!) But i still try to make it to clan events. I do play Jedi Outcast every once and a while, but that is to keep my saber and gunning skills from rusting to the point of no return.

Right now I'm trying to get my computer to work correctly, being since it was infected by evil Trojan viruses (which I zapped), so I won't be able to make it to practices until my computer is fully functional. :(:(

heh, how did you get a virus? :p

Also, if your saying don't let noobs in, well, you could be included. To many, your a noob. 1 - Join date. You just joined.. 2 - Your acting like a noob. We haevn't flopped. We made it so everyone can come, because we can help them get better. If you have a perfect clan, no one will want to play you.

EDIT by Z - Lets get back on topic, shall we? :)
