There are going to be "normal" swords in the game. They are called vibro blades. It should add a little something to the game, that's for sure. The dual lightsabers will be my weapon of choice though.

You don't have a lightsaber at the beginning of the game though do you? If not I'm going to have two of those swords, like in BG2. When I get a lightsaber I'm going to have a blue "staff."

It will be a little while after you start the game before you get your lightsaber. The devs say 40-60 hrs to "complete" the game....which all depends upon the mini-games, side-quests you adventure to. Of that time, I think you will be playing the game for 10 hrs before you can get your saber. Now don't quote me on that, but that's what I understand. I just can't wait.....

Do you know anything more about Zaalbar the Wookiee? And what was Com Raven talking about when he said if you love this game check the website this weekend, huh?

Lemme guess, you were inspired by a certain scene in AotC? I don't think I have to ask which side your character will join I wonder if they will also incorporate extra animations for the vibroblades... if you have two enemies attacking each with vibroblades, could we actually see some duelling between them? Not that my first character would care, vibroblades are no subsitute with a good blaster rifle at your side.

I like the look of the characters we have seen thus far, though. It's nice to see another african-american in the star wars universe. Maybe he will be another bad-ass like Mace.
