Guest Jed
Who got it? I just received mine in the mail today and it's just fantastic! I took some pics of it, and I'll post 'em up when I load them from my digi cam.
Jedi Apprentice
Don't have one, but I have played one. They are pretty slick. Because of SP it has actually made me consider getting one.
Guest Jed
I'll be giving the SP a full review if you'd like to check it out. It'll be on TheManipulation! sometime in the next week. [/shamelessplug]

Taos
What exactly is SP all about? I've never really been into Gameboys.....so help me out here.
Guest Jed
You can read all about it here. It's a foldable Game Boy that has a front light so you can view it in the dark and plays all available games.
Lynk Former
I've already got a normal Gameboy Advance, but I'm still gonna get the SP No harm in having two is there... also is anyone else hearing news that Nintendo will release their next gen console early just so they can release it the same time as the PS3? leXX
I gave my Gameboy Advance and 6 games to my friends son as a birthday present a couple of weeks ago. I played it when I first got it, but after that it just sat there gathering dust. I won't be buying the SP, I'd much rather spend my money on PC and xbox games. Lynk Former
Did you just copy and paste that from your post in the same kind of topic in LucasConsoles?

In the end....this is how I feel about GBA SP. Of course, it's just pc games for me.
Treacherous Mercenary
I'll stick to strictly the PC games and that's it! How does the lighting work for the SP though, I got alittle confused about it.
Guest Jed
The GBA SP's lighting is a front light. Instead of a genuine backlight, there is a light in front of the LCD at the bottom that illuminates the entire screen. It works quite well in the dark, I'll have a movie up soon enough ^__~
Darth Simpson
I'm thinking of picking one up sometime, I'd like to play some of the big N classics again. A Link To The Past, Super Mario, etc. I'm totally bummed for cash though. Maybe I should cut back on the alcohol...
