Toa Tahu Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 Poll: 1:Light Armour 2:Medium Armour 3:Heavy Armour Hey,not many noticed but there is new armour as reported in the home page!So,which type of armour would you choose?I would personally choose medium,although the others look nice,but because I can't sacrifice either speed(my main pc is Jedi) or strength,so Medium would suit me.

Carth Onassi Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 I think for me, I would keep some heavy armor for when i get into a bind but my first choice would have to be light. For the one reason of my guy is going to be for hand to hand combat with light sabre and any other things there may be in the game that could be used for melee action.
Burrie Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 Seeing as how my first char will be a Soldier, I'll be going for the heavy armor. Once I become a Jedi, I'll prolly stop wearing that kind of armor, and use something more suitable.

Jedi Apprentice Posted March 31, 2003 Posted March 31, 2003 For my main PC I gotta go with Medium just because it sounds the most well rounded, but for other characters such as soldiers and scoundrels they will probabaly have Heavy Duty stuff. If you can carry different things in your inventory I will probabaly keep different suits for different situations.

Burrie Posted March 31, 2003 Posted March 31, 2003 Light armor will probably have some advantages. Cheap, the ability to move better and mayhaps use more Force Powers. And I believe Ordo has been confirmed as a NPC for your party. In fact, I can remember that a developer was giving out an example of the game play in which he said that he'd rather use Bastilla for sneaking than Canderous.

Armor wearing sissies!!! j/k I'll wear light armor till my character becomes a Jedi. Then I'll trade it in for a hat(or something).

Taos Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 Yeah, but at the start of the game you aren't a jedi.......so more then likely you will need some type of armor to protect yourself. As a jedi though, I don't think you can use armor!

IMO, but i think a jedi could wear armor, but there's no point. just to look cool i guess?
Uber_Saber Posted April 5, 2003 Posted April 5, 2003 Well, Vader wore armor... But I like the flowing robes look of Maul's outfit better, personally. Bandon's is some cool lookin' armor, though. Decisions, decisions. I'll probably play and replay the game through with different armor and whatnot.
