legameboy Posted April 17, 2003 Posted April 17, 2003 *gets out a golan arms and shoots starcord* no! may 17!
StarCords Posted April 17, 2003 Posted April 17, 2003 I set up a thread in RP just for this a few minutes ago. Come on, now.
legameboy Posted April 17, 2003 Posted April 17, 2003 it will be a great fight! a wonderful fight! but i still say May 17th
Sunshine Badass Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 Well if I told my friends all about Beta, they would... A.) Shrug, and talk about Diablo 2. B.) Ask what the Hell I am smoking and WHAT is SWG? (My friends being mostly girls on a 5:1 ratio... had not noticed this until one of them made the comment of: "Hey, look at your odds... 12 to 1. They love you..." Then she laughed at me and told me to go make some guy friends. C.) Yeah... Beta is nice. "My name is Ray Nickel and I love Anarchy Online because I have no clue what Diablo 2 is all about... You stupids." -indescernable comment- "Shut up, Ben! You too, Eric." D.) Go back to talking about Warhammer, which I do not like.
legameboy Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 how many people DO know about SWG? 500,000? 750,000? give an estimate
Sunshine Badass Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 At my school, Heritage, I would estimate that less than 100 people out of 2000 students know ANYTHING about SWG.
-=ReApEr=- Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 Lol you live in a ghost town or something dude
setsuko Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 Yeah, to quote Darling (a swedish alternative girl magazine): "Star Wars: the only thing that can make every male act 10-20 years younger, and also the only thing that can make a man spend hundreds of dollars on plastic toys." Here, everyone has at least seen the movies.
Jackrabbit Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 Lol you live in a ghost town or something dude I have about 720 kids in my school . And that's from about 4 different towns in my area. The bad part is, they all want to come to my house for LAN parties, and my house for Vampire and other White Wolf games, and my house for D&D, and my house... You get the picture.
legameboy Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 i estimate 5 out of 900 students at my school know about SWG
StarCords Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 Half the people in my school (literally) haven't even seen A, ONE, SINGULAR, Star Wars movie. Basically, when I say something that anyone would know if they've seen a SW movie, they just call me a SW Freak.
Sunshine Badass Posted April 19, 2003 Posted April 19, 2003 Funny thing is though: Heritage is one of the better top schools in the country, but EVERYONE is a stoner or drinks alchohol every night... Maybe not everyone, but a VERY high percentage of people at Heritage are dockers. :(
swediot=) Posted April 19, 2003 Posted April 19, 2003 ok so what normal school sint like that or maybe its just because i live in skaters ville new zealand
RocketPack Jack Posted April 19, 2003 Posted April 19, 2003 Only a couple of my friends at uni know about SWG, and thats only becos ive been bending their ears backwards telling them about it. SPREAD THE WORD!!!
Sunshine Badass Posted April 20, 2003 Posted April 20, 2003 Swediot, you are right about schools being like that. Have not heard of one that is all angelic. What I WAS saying though, is that I do not see what makes my school better than others, except Denver Public Schools, there is something to be avoided. But we are a good school, but we do everything the same. ACT's are this week, and during the introduction of "How To BS Your ACT" mandatory meeting given by our school, they tell us HOW and WHEN to fill in the little bubbles on our registry forms like we needed the instructions.
