yup, i decided to buy one, this one, to be precice:

it's a diva MP3 player with 32 mb.

it's cheap, and it has awesome sound (according to the review)

but you all want the specifications don't you?

here you go:

Bitrates supported: 32-320 kbps, CBR, VBR

Audio:

Frequency range: 20 Hz - 20 kHz

so, does anyone else have a mp3 player, are you happy with it, is it worth it, and wich one do you concider best?

I was gonna say that every thing I hear about mobile MP3 players is always about the iPod. Some said it lacked until they made Windows software for it, which they have.....

If I had to get one, it would probably be an iPod, but I'd perfer a PDA that had exchangable battery packs over one of these. More functionality..

I don't have a MP3 player but I do have a Mini Disc player and I love it. I get 5 hours of music on one of my Mini Discs and the battery lasts me for about 56 hours and it is just a little fatter than yours and is half the size of your in height.

Ummm..... I-Pod.....

I sorta skipped the whole CD Player bit and jumped straight to Minidisc... Now kinda kicking myself cause if I had held out a year longer, I could have gotten the I-Pod, or its close rival from Rio, the Rio Riot (nice black bow shaped little number).

Would love to sell my Minidisc and get one, but even on E-Bay they are VASTLY expensive!

So congrats on getting em!

By the way, I cannot remember for sure, but is there not a device that can also hold AVI and MPEGS and play them back on its 1 1/2 " screen? I kept thinking it was the I-Pod but it isnt is it....
