Cantina Part 10: The Dawning

Deac

Recommended Posts

((BD does have a point, Scar, even if he stated it at a weird time. ;) There's probably less than 200 Jedi around at the moment.

JM: Gotcha, and good luck :)

Oh and FYI; I'm stalling a little at the moment with Gilian, etc, to wait for Deac to get back. Feel free to add random other material ;)))

Gilian: Better.

*She walks towards the door on the other side of the room, calmly staking the remaining, stunned vampires in the room as she passes*

----------

Aren: You don't need to believe us. You can see it for yourself in a week. *to Farran and Artemis* As for your two, we can provide the same if you want. But I'm guessing you'll want more than weapons. We can give you new lives, wherever you want. In this galaxy or in your home galaxy, or wherever we are capable of taking you. We can offer you the best protection to be found in either galaxy.

Farran: And what, pray tell, are you going to require of us in turn?

Aren: Only a few small services.

Farran: Regarding?

Aren: Specifically? The Blades, the Imperials, and the Aesir of this dimension.

Farran: *under his breath* Now why am I not surprised? *aloud* I don't know anyone called an Aesir.

Aren: Really? We have it on good authority that they have had considerable contact with you.

Farran: Really.

Aren: We believe it was Aesir who threatened to kill you, who made contact with you on Ulna Shardes and asked you for information on the Blades.

Farran: I'm impressed that you know all this. So how long have you been tracking me?

Aren: For a long time, actually. However we didn't have any confirmation that you were who we thought you were, until the Executioners came looking...

Farran: I didn't see you offering to help me then.

Aren: We were certain a former Blade of your caliber could handle himself.

((Okay, true, but at least Fused Irvine killing that meny Jedi, wouldnt it attract some other attention from different groups? *winks at Red and admiral*

btw: Yes i did very much so plan on stopping the deaths/slaughter of Jedi,... for now... Muahahaha!!

j/k :D No Jedi deaths unless it is until at least another chapter, which I'm not sure how long this one will last... (happy now BD?)

btw: BD, I did however plan on something a little later in time with a character that you possibly do control to take care of F Irvine))

((As far as I know there are around 150 Jedi, so another killing spree from Fused Ivrine will prompt level 1 woopass, as opposed to level 2 woopass (Flax). So watch it.

I'll be gone Fri-Sunday. Good luck JM.))

*Flax heads towards the spaceport.*

*Out of the corner of the group's eyes an old vampire sits, his appearence is enough to startle even the braveist of men, half humanoid half bat.*

Vorador "That whelp Kvana wasnt too far, now he might've had gotten even further away, how ever that girl, has anyone bothered to figure out where she ran off to? Or were you all enjoying yourselves so much?" *sigh*

[edit]((Changed discription of a possible where-a-bouts of Kvana))[/edit]

((Well vorador can manifest himself from time to time.

and the 'girl' was that vamp librarain, i couldnt figure out if ya killed her or not.

And as for Vorador knowning where Kvana is, its the same story that I was complaining to BD about when he was 'tracking down my non active player'

Usualy when stated that when a character 'dissappears for some unknown or random reason' its basically ment that the person who controls the character desides that he's not going to 'play' the character for some. I think people here dont reconise this, and of course this is the result.))

Vorador *To Gillian* "You're correct. I've exsisted inside of that sword for several thousand years. But unwilling body thrown into a forge that creates weaponry that even satan himself would tremble in the sight of them. I managed after a while to regain some of my sanity and power to 'manifest' myself from time to time in my former self."

*The image stands, then turns to Dargo*

"Drago, you never knew my power nor do you now. I've made a deal with someone whom doesnt consern any of you." *to the group* "But from what it is worth, I can help you all with a few 'favors'. One of them was to offer my services to the bearer of the Starkiller, another was to get rid of those two whelps Vertmor and his younger brother Sertmor. Trust me, it'll take you a decades to manage to kill all three of them, together like they were. But now, two are gone, and the third is on the run." *Narrows his eyes* "I believe that constitutes more then enough to prove my worth."

Vorador *not giving Drago enough time to answer* "I just told you, I killed those two 'so called' Master Vampires whom were in league with Kvana Clare, the Vampire whom you are chasing. And also what I've siad, I'm a soul trapped inside a sword, trying to 'repent' myself. Besides to that person's knowledge" *motions to Drago* "he doesn't know my orign, nor until now that what I am, just was."

Vorador "I'm surprised in all these years you can remember in such detail... Besides it matters not that if I sired those two that I killed, I have not done the same with Kvana, Kvana is the predecessor to his master, Kvana Clare the first." *Speaking retoricaly* "I wouldnt be surprised if there was a vampire that had made his way generation to generation with that title..."

Gilian: So you're a repentant being of pure evil, huh? And master vampire, to boot? Whatever your game is, I'm not playing.

*Starr emerges through the dust and smoke into the area*

Gilian: Let's go.

*She stoops and picks up a codekey from the ground, from a pile of vampire dust. She inserts it into the blast door's lock, and it slides open.

A set of four books lie on the table facing the group. Kvana Clare stands in the middle of the room*

Kvana: You're too late. I have fulfilled my role in the prophecy, and the dawning can now come. The dawn of a new age...a new age of darkness.

*A polished steel dagger with a strange, glittering sheen lies on the table in front of him. The blade is made of polished wood. Kvana picks it up*

Kvana: I bid you all farewell. Goodbye...

*He stabs the dagger into his heart. The magic energy inside him bursts outward as his physical body dissolves at the seams. He collapses into dust, and the energy explodes out in a flash of blinding brilliance, the shockwave knocking everyone in the room to the floor.*

*Vorador didn't however fall, not being a phsyical entity.*

Vorador "That is not a good thing... New age of darkness? What did he mean... No, it couldn't be." *Yelling to the group* "Time to go, now!"

*Vorador vanishes as a trail of his magical energies seep back into the Reaver.*

((Gone til sunday.))

((Deac: Kvana is dead, so who's next? :D))

Gilian: Deac, I told you it wasn't that simple!

*The burning table collapses, and as the flames eat it up the books are revealed intact in the ashes, magically healing from the Reaver's cuts.*

Gilian: I'm not sure how to destroy them, and Kvana knew it. But he was wrong - it isn't too late. Elementary logic - if I take the books out of this dimension the spell wil be nullfied and the books rendered dormant. All I have to do is get them to my ship...

*She stops suddenly, looking up as if sensing something*

Gilian: Uh-oh. Time to go!

*She dashes to the remains of the table, stamping out the rest of the flames.

A dent appears in the door opposite the group. Then another.

She picks up the books and rushes for the open door, as the opposite door caves in, revealing K'Warra K'laar*

Starr: You again?

*Gilian turns and throws three blades at K'Warra. K'Warra catches them, and they explode on contact*

Gilian: Run!
