New Trailer from E3

Well, now that I've calmed down, I can explain and answer questions.

First, I did a "Burrie" and found the link on the official site by playing around with things.

Secondly, this trailer shows many new things we haven't seen. For one, Malak torturing Bastila using Force Lighting, obviously trying to get her to turn to the dark side. There are a lot of voices shown in this clip, as well as a character that is the same species as Yoda. And he talks in this clip too.

Impressive, the trailer is. Much Malak in the clip. ^__^

w00t!

EDIT: After my 11th time watching, it appears Malak is fighting Bastilia in a duel at one point.

Only 6 more minutes of download!

*jumps for joy* :D

This thread will be edited after I watch the trailer.;)

Edit:

*jumps for joy again*

Oh my goodness this is an awesome trailer! It shows so much that we haven't seen before.

A must see for every Knights fan.

And besides what 220 mentioned, the trailer shows use of bladed weapons. Thought Burrie might want to hear that. ^_^

Man, I could ramble on and on about this new trailer for a long time.

*goes to watch trailer again* :D

Bastards! You complete bastards, all of you!

*ahem*

Pardon for that moment of weakness, but allow me to explain my situation : I'm stuck here at college for another 3 hours, waiting for a lesson which is literally about nothing(just talking a bit with a teacher of mine)... and after that, I need to travel to home in about an hour, and only THEN can I download the movie. In the mean time, I only get to hear you guys praise and rave about it.

Damn, why won't they just install Quicktime on these frickin' PCs...

(this must be that lil' surprise that they were talking about at the official forums... cheers!)

EDIT : O-kay, we are now a few hours later, and I finally managed to get the trailer.

What can I say? This is exactly what I had hoped to see! Action, drama, MALAK, dual wielding jedi, LOTSA Jedi, and so much more.

The trailer started out well, with the first new shot being Malak igniting his blade, ready to dual methinks. A nice shot around Bastilla, and then the trailer really kicks off well with Malak commanding Karath to "wipe this planet from the face of the galaxy". First time we heard Malak speaking, right? I must say that I like the synthetic voice... it wasn't what I had expected, but come to think of it, I had no real idea at all.

The destruction of the planet also seems incredible... I guess it's only a part of the large city, but if this is but a mere taste of the destruction... egad. The few shots of Bastilla fighting a Dark Jedi(Malak?) looked nice, and her voice seems to fit her character well. The upcoming space battles look incredibly nice, and I like Carth's "Get into those gun turrets". Now, that wookiee fighting those warriors surprised me... would that Wookiee be Chundaar, and could those warriors possibly be the Mandalorians? Too bad you can't really see them up close.

Well, the rest of the trailer is just as heartgripping... and to be honest, my thoughts about Bastilla are continuing to grow... the fact that she might turn to the Dark Side seems to be stronger. The Yoda Jedi was a surprise... I knew that there would be one(the staff at the forum had said so), but I hadn't expected to see him in the trailer. I'm rather surprised that he doesn't talk back... ah well, 4000 years and all that. The next shot nearly threw me off my chair... three jedi fighting against three Dark Jedi. Too bad that it's but a fraction of a second.

The trailer then proceeds with some nice shots of the characters and some tense action, and finally ends with words from Malak... a brilliant ending.

Cheers to Bioware and Lucasarts for releasing the trailer... I am really lookin' forward to it.

"She will turn or die." :D

I'm hoping that little Yoda guy is the guy who gives you you're orders from the Council. He was cool.

Everything looks great!!!

Thanks for that link, Burrie. If I ahdn't figured out what the problem was, (conflicts with Mozilla, my primary web browser) that would have helped.

Wow. This game is gonna be freakin' awesome. I just wish the music wasn't so poorly cut on this trailer.

I agree. I had hoped that they would use some of the new music for the trailer, but they had to use the "Across the Stars" song, which is a good song by its own right, but belongs in the PT.

Also, I believe that I heard this cut from the Imperial March to Across the Stars somewhere before... perhaps in one of the EP2 trailer... anybody know?

I couldn't tell you Burrie, but I can tell you that this is possibly the best lip-synching in a game that I've ever seen. Aside from the fact that the entire game is spoken and lip-synched in real-time, this game is one the largest, most technical games ever!!!:D

Agreed, Ultimaster... take special notice of "I'll never fall to the Dark Side" and "It's too late to retreat, admiral". They look extremely well-done.

I definitely agree that this game has some awesome lip-synching. The devs stated one time that they used a certain program to produce the correct lip-synching.

I bet you can't buy the program to do that at Wal-Mart. :)

I think the best lip-synching was done on Malak however. :nut:

Seriously though, I want to see how good the lip-synching is in game. We already know its great in the cutscenes, but I want to see what it's like walking through a cantina seeing all the people talk.

It should be great. :D

It's in the end of EPII, when the clones are departing from Coruscant, first you hear Imperial March once and you see Palpatine, clones are taking off in the background, after that you'll see the clones still taking off but not in the background anymore and you'll hear the 'Republic theme in SWGB:CC' (don't know what to call it otherwise) just once. Then you zoom in on Palpatine and hear Imp March again but this time much louder. And at last you'll see the wedding of Ani and Padmé with off course Across the Stars as the music.

-I've found a file called 'Confrontation with Count Dooku and

Finale' somewhere online, not sure where but if you find it this

file has the music of the piece of the movie from above

-I've found the file on my HardDisk, not sure how to post it here but the scenemusic on the part above begins on 2min 50sec and the Imp March Across the Stars begins on 3min 35sec just trying to post it here as soon as any1 tells me how to do so
