Keyan Farlander Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 No doubt he'll best be remembered for "The Untouchables" and "Unsolved Mysteries," but to me, he'll always be Ultra Magnus. :(
Rogue Nine Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 He's the Unsolved Mysteries guy with the creepy narrative voice? Damn...I liked him.

To me he'll always be Rex Kramer from the Airplane! movies. Air Controller: Captain, maybe we oughtta turn on the search lights now. Kramer: No. That's just what they will be expecting us to do.
Flying Beastie Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 I can't deal with that now! (It's a Transformers thing.) Apparently he died of heart failure after completing his chemo for prostate cancer. He was 84, served in WW2, and has been acting since the 1930s. May his spark find peace within the Matrix, or wherever he goes.
Taos Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 Originally posted by edlib To me he'll always be Rex Kramer from the Airplane! movies. Exactly, same way for me too! He was so funny in those movies. Now that I think about it.......it's been too long since I've seen watched those, I think I'll have to rent one for this occasion.
Admiral Odin Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 Ah now I remember him. Truely a pity, I only hope his passing was not painful.
Zargon Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 you don't usually feel much when having heart complications, but chemo sucks......
edlib Posted May 24, 2003 Posted May 24, 2003 Originally posted by Keyan Farlander ... but to me, he'll always be Ultra Magnus. I spent the morning at work watching the Transformers Movie DVD on my computer (long story) so this statement actually makes sense to me now.
