Lunatic Jedi
Woah... woah... Woah. Okay, there was just an earthquake at my house. Really small, but kind of annoying and unnerving. It only lasted a few seconds, but still... EEP!!! Blasted San Andreas Fault...

BCanr2d2
We have a kiwi in the midst, well things are interesting now. Us Aussies will soon gang up on you... Never had the unfortunate experience to sit through any kind of tremor, other than really light turbulence in a 747. My sister on the other hand, had an earthquake alarm go off not long after landing the USA many years ago to begin her exchange student experience. Lunatic Jedi
Okay, I just did some research on that last quake, and it was a 4.5 on the Richter Scale, and it was localized around Santa Rosa, which is only two towns away from me.

You probarly felt a small aftershock or something like that, still any earthquake is bad for anyone, good thing we don't get them in the uk, actually we do but their so small a flea would feel it
Ratmjedi
Dude we live in California man. Earthquakes are nothing. There as normal as the trash being taken away every week. And you said that the last earthquake was a 4.5 two towns away and that it was just a little one. A 4.5 isn't little when you live two towns away. You should of really felt it. I remember a earthquake like less than a month ago. But I live in Riverside county along with STTCT and Tyrion lives LA County so depending on what county you live in we probally didn't feel it. Lunatic Jedi
I don't know. For all of the 13 years I've lived in California, there have only been 3 earthquakes that I've encountered, and I suppose the last one was the biggest by comparison. CURSED FAULT LINES! •-BLaCKouT-•
Well, we had one here in the UK about a year ago I think. Really small, a mere tremor, and it happened at about 1am. It was enough to wake my girlfriend, but not me. People at work said it woke them up too, windows rattling, things falling off shelves. The thing is, I've always said to people that I could probably sleep through an earthquake, now I've got proof! Wouldn't fancy having to sit though a biggie though. Lunatic, you have my sympathies. Lunatic Jedi
It wasn't a biggie. It was tiny from where I am, but I imagine it wasn't so tiny for the people in Santa Rosa. Eep.
