With the new skill progression, Server movement has to be relooked at.

Due to the latest patch and how hard people, particularly crafters, have to work to get XP, I think server relocation has to be relooked at.

Starstrider may not be opened for another a week or so after release. A number of people will not want to put a week into their character, especially crafters, only to find out that they need to start anew on another server. Sure, they won't have to say good-bye entirely, but most the Asses' members' primary characters will be on Starstrider.

So, I only hope my plea isn't in vain, for moving, permanently, is the only way. I strongly suggest Bloodfin, I know a number of PvPers and RPers will be there, if not, then kiss a large number of crafters good-bye.

Also, as it hit me this morning, have the Asses noticed that the Combat oriented players may declare Covertly. Have the great and powerful leaders countered this? What about Overts? How long to thing being neutral wil hold up?

I'm only saying this aggresive things because I like you. Please use the poll to post your opinion, if you agree with my thread, disagree, or don't have an opinion.

Moving to Bloodfin...it is your destiny.

If you can't make a second character after one week, you are indeed not dedicated to the PA. This is a venture of months, perhaps even years. If one week is so important, then go on and play on another server. Your secondary char, if you make one, is still welcomed around, but personally, I think your priorities would be a bit shrewd.

If said crafters decide to leave the PA because they don't want to relocate, then we'll have to deal with it. This is a matter we decided a very long time ago. I am not prepared to make a switch just because you said so. And to counter your argument, even more members have friends who'll play on Starsider. Would a switch be fair to them? No. People have planned with Starsider in mind. Unless Starsider gets so crowded that it is utterly impossible to play there, I say we go with Starsider.

Also, I might add, there's a fair amount of members who don't want to play on a PvP server. Well, I for once. We are a PA geared towards RP, and we have always been. You are free to play on a PvP server. But don't expect me to run beside you.

Please don't patronize me. That's a bad way to get me to agree with you. We will let people pursue factions if they like. It is totally up to them. However, the PA won't openly join either side, so the neutrality will hold up.

There. Now you have my opinion, monsigneur usurper. A lot of members have friends who plan to play on Starsider. That's why I think we should try our best to aim for Starsider. It's the only way to be fair to our members.

They have increased the exp required to lvl a great deal, but if you are playing a combat oriented class you can still go from beginner to specialist in one night. I did it last night ;)

And it doesnt matter if you are a crafter or a combatant, 1 week of playing is 1 week of playing. Most of the people will probably enjoy restarting after a week because they realized they picked the wrong profession ;)

Don't beat your head on the wall trying to get folks to change servers, it won't happen. Lets just focus on going to Starsider and making the best out of it.

I couldn't have said it better myself. ;) I don't think we should worry about this, everyone else who wants to go to Starsider has to do the same thing we do.....so it's not like we're going to be behind. :)

If you don't want to make your character twice, then don't. When the game comes out, my first character will be a Bothan something or other. When we switch to Starsider, I'll start my real character. If you know it's going to be a pain in the ass to go through a week of crafting, then don't do it.

At this point people should know that we're going to move, and not get attached to their first character.

Yea im for starsider, this gives me a chance to see if i really want the profession I have chosen. I want to explore without worry for awhile and I only have 1 day and 14 hours left but whos counting. By the way, are we all congregating on another server or we just going to explore untill starsider is out?

Hmm...interesting note. I know about half of the Asses are high schoolers alot of them, I assuming, play hardcore during the summer months. That "one week" may count for one month duing the school year. I'm only looking out for you guys.

Bloodfin isn't a PvP server. It's an Unofficial PvP-influenced server and they way it will be setup and the people playing role-playing will only blossom.

If the Asses are geared towards RPing, then why are you allowing your members to join different factions? How is RPing an Imp and Reb setting right next to each other RPing? Techinically, a group of Imps from another PA could come into your town (assuming you don't have a militia or "rules" that say no shooting in town or the surrounding areas) and gank all of your Rebs (assuming the Imps and Rebs are all Overt)? Or the non-PA Overt Imps could just camp outside the city.

I admire your opinions and thoughts on this matter, set. However, if you only listened to my plea and looked at it from my view. I understand where you are coming and partially have to agree, however, when I look at the pro's and con's of each situation, Bloodfin/moving is the only way.
