KBell
I heard that the director had used up so much budget on most of the movie that Arnold had to use money out of his own pockets to be able to shoot the Truck scene where he slams into the truck and tips it over that shows dedication I might see the movie on July 4th
Agen
It seems T3 has slapped all the non-believers accross the face and is continuing to get more and more Glowing Reviews. TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES A decade has passed since John Connor (Stahl) helped prevent Judgment Day and save mankind from mass destruction. Now 25, Connor lives off the grid no home, no credit cards, no cell phone and no job. No record of his existence. No way he can be traced by Skynet - the highly developed network of machines that once tried to kill him and wage war on humanity. Until... out of the shadows of the future steps the T-X (Loken), Skynet's most sophisticated cyborg killing machine yet. Sent back through time to complete the job left unfinished by her predecessor, the T-1000, this machine is as relentless as her human guise is beautiful. Now Connor's only hope for survival is the Terminator (Schwarzenegger), his mysterious former assassin. Together, they must triumph over the technologically superior T-X and forestall the looming threat of Judgment Day or face the apocalypse and the fall of civilization as we know it. Now during the course of John`s discovery, two Terminators have been dispatched, one to protect and the other to destroy John Conner. The arrival of Schwarzenegger`s T-800 is good and is cut down well from what was in the script was too long and a bit overly violent but this is a Terminator film!! With the T-800 model dispatched, another model soon follows. This time out, it`s a new prototype terminator. A female terminator, who is impossibly beautiful and genetically perfect in more ways than just looks. The race begins here. The film has loads of action packed into it, too much to write about in this small review. But one great thing from this film apart from the massive ending just think T2 and add 10% then you get T3`s ending. We also get to see the actual birth of Skynet and early prototype cyborg models literally coming off the factory line, armed and ready to go. The special effects are amazing, but with a 175 million dollar starting budget it should be.Schwarzengger is obviously back on board reprising his role thanks to 30 million dollars. He is truly and will always be The Terminator. Although i though he was better in the original Terminator then this one, he still delivers. Of course, as soon as this project was turned down by creator and director of the original two films James Cameron the film was thrown back in the waste bin, but there come an answer U571 director Jonathan Mostow. But that was the only starting problem, with original John Connor played by Edward Furlong and Linda Hamilton who played Jon`s mother Sarah Connor both not returning to the project with two different reasons. The film was slashed as a flop without anything being written, then a decent script penned by Tedi Sarafian got the film back together. The story is good, but often abit rushed. While T2 had more story, T3 has more action (the graveyard scene is amazing). The new baddy is a female Terminator played by Kristanna Loken, she is perfect for the role as the Terminator her face emotions and walking are suited to her character, and for the actress first film she has done, she hasnt done bad. Another new addition is John Connor`s girlfriend Kate Brewster played by Claire Danes who was the last actress to be signed. Her changed appearance from Romeo And Juliet improves her character and you actually believe what she is going through and that she loves her boyfriend dearly. With the original John Connor not returning, actor Nick Stahl was signed on. He in some places is good as the rough dont give a dam character that Furlong played so well in T2. At some times you think John would have more guts and would do more and not like hide behind a door. Apart from that, the film delivers. As usual special effects wizard Stan Wilson who provided the makeup effects for the Terminator films, pushes T3 to go beyond T2 and T1 and improves with better makeup effects on the Terminators. Although some fans will love it, i think die hard fans will be waiting for more. For actions fans this is a must, a not too confusing storyline and loads of bangs and of course the female Terminator appearing semi naked will help pull in the movie-goers. Although T2 will live on forever being a classic and maybe the best Terminator film ever made. For what was branded a instant flop and would never work without original director and half the original cast back, the film proves that all said it still can rock and this film truly rocks. LDJW Rating ( out of 10 ) 8.5 next yin First of all let me say, SHAME on anyone who would be disappointed with this film. Wait - scratch film. Make that an experience. Jonathon Mostow has taken this story and made it completely his own. Gotta give props to the writers as well. After all, they are the same masterminds that brought us "The Game". I am not much for spoilers, unless people ask, so I will just give you the most straight-forward look at T3 I can. Cast - First of all, there's Arnold. He IS the Terminator. As soon as you first see him, you get that "Oh this ROCKS" feeling. He looks a little aged, but he still has it. Nick Stahl, as John Connor, was most definitely my favorite though. I have heard so many people say that they should have brought back Furlong, but I for one am thankful they didn't. Furlong was my least favorite part about T2, and still is. He may have done an OK job playing the part of a 10 year old boy, but there is no way he could have pulled this off. Stahl represents the more adult-like John Connor to perfection. Clair Danes, as Kate Brewster, was a nice choice as well. She is just a fine actress. She has impressed me many times over, and she did so again in this film. Kristana Loken, as the TX, was fantastic. In fact, I liked her better than Robert Patrick's T-1000. She is just great to look at in action. The rest of the cast, small and large characters, were great as well. 9/10 Just when you thought the whole Terminator thing would be headed for a junkyard, AARP-eligible Arnold Schwarzenegger plugs us in and pulls out a winner. Nearly 20 years after the first Terminator blew up the big screen, this one still offers massive action and a compelling plot. The Terminator (Arnie) is sent back in time (again) to protect the future leader (Nick Stahl) of an army that will be key to the survival of the human race. Hot on their trail is a new mechanized menace (Kristanna Loken) with looks to kill and an arm that can morph into any weapon she chooses. Urban warfare ensues, and the movie races to blow up as much stuff as possible (which it does in grandiose style) and add interesting twists to the lore of the franchise. And whether you want to believe it or not, Schwarzenegger's dry robo-wit still gets laughs. This will definitely get a Rise out of action buffs--and we mean that in a totally good way. That's enough for this now

Yeah, I don't see why linda didn't return as sarah because she's been a main character all the way James Cameron for some reason wanted to make a sequel to the titanic! Oh and Furlong is a bald junkie now and is in rehab. Still, i don't believe i have to wait for a month just to see my favourite movie series What is so wrong with releasing a move 2 days later in the UK and elsewhere? ET Warrior
I saw it last night........one word...........Amazing. I have loved all the terminator movies out so far, but I personally feel that this one was the best yet. BARELY edging past T2 as my favorite of the three. Wonderful story, amazing action, super hot bad girl, and this movie was funny as hell. I give it a 9.9/10.
HertogJan
Hehe wel I definately love T2 T1 was great, T2 was just FANTASTIC!! I really have high hopes for T3 now!!
Bob Gnarly
After seeing the first two directed with such greatness i wasnt looking forward to T3, but i went to the theatres yesterday to check it out. first i have to say nice collectors card things that you get when you buy the ticket. Now to the movie, starts off great, amazing effects, gets you back in the mood for some Terminator plus re-introduces you to everyone (John Connor, the Terminator) but theres something you can tell has changed from the begining the James Cameron element is missing, not to say it wasnt a good movie because Jonathan Mostow trys to remake the the whole series into his own, by making the terminator not remember his past and killing off Sarah Connor, and more you'll see in the movie. Anyways the movie was great, the actors playe dthere roles like there where on a biography, they all where so convincing in knowing there past and whos who. Nick Stahl played John Connor like that was him, he was afraid he was confused and he was sure of his future. Now Kristanna Loken is a sexay lady but a female terminator is great, but in James Camerons T-1000 was much more scarier much more like a Terminator, not like the T-X she was WAAAAAAY more sexy then scary, even as a robot. Now on to the movie scenes, The movie had great visual effects and tried as much as they could not to use to much CGI the Future scenes where amazingly realistic, except the Older John Connor looked more like his face was melting other then getting old. Now the scene where you see Arnold on a Truck of some sort crashing into buildings was great, it humilated the All CGI Matrix Realoaded Highway chase scene. Another reason i love this movie is because it didnt depend on CGI it used stunt men, the backbone of filmmaking (imho). This movie had just enough action and Story blended togather to make a great movie. Now the Bathroom Brawl in movie is PHENOMENAL, greatest fight ever, better then having hundreds of one guy take out some super...man (you know what movie i mean). Anyways the ending finally completes the Trilogy and makes you feel that you know John Connor now, you know his pain. one thing i have to comment on is HOW funny is it when: When terminator just come back from the future naked and hes looking for clothes and finally steals the male strippers costume and puts on the stripper glasses instead of his sleak dark glasses, very funny, VERY VERY funny. Final Rating 95% 9.5/
