Laserschwert
OK, me again (and no two edits for me... )... Thrik, could I just upload the missing file to your FTP directly? Or maybe you have the file yourself (it's that orchestral remix from HighLand Productions)... if not, I could up it, since that Come2Snore-lameass of a server just wouldn't upload it, though it's below the limit of 10MB per file (it's actually close to 9MB). Thrik
I'm afraid that I cannot let you have ftp access due to it being on the GFN's main FTP (which is very private ) but if you email the file to me or upload it to your own webspace I will be happy to up it. Also, these files may be moved to the SCUMM Bar's ftp (since that too is on the same server) when it returns, but until then it will remain where it is now. So in short, yes, it is a pretty permanent host. It's the least I could do for you doing all of these.
Thrik
As for Mojo hosting, I'm not the man to speak to. You'll need to get in contact with the Mojo cronies to request hosting and to find out their terms.
Laserschwert
Great, I'll include a download page for the soundtrack on my site then. Well, since Mojo has crashed, I bet they have LOTS of free webspace (ah, nothing about some good saracasm ). But seriously, I think I'll contact them. As for mailing the missing MP3... does your mailbox take a 9MB file without hassle? If yes, I am impressed, if not, I'll try to upload it to the webspace where I put my site on... it has no upload limit either, but they don't accept MP3s... so don't be suprised when I send you a link to a 9MB *.doc-file Thanks for all your help! Thrik
Yep, my email can handle that. Although I would prefer a download since it'd be faster, either is fine. It's totally up to you.
Laserschwert
OK, I'll go with the mail-way... it's one less upload for me, and I don't have to worry about losing my account. So, what's you e-mail?

ATMachine
These MP3s are great! I love them! Laserschwert, I salute you for making this soundtrack. It's just beautiful. And Thrik, I am much indebted to you for enabling me to actually download the files before I become eligible for senior-citizen benefits. (Just to illustrate this, it took me 50 minutes to download a 4mb file from Laserschwert's server. And that's on broadband!) The only things I can suggest are maybe uploading the beach tune from Dinky Island, or creating MP3s of the 3 MIDI tracks Telarium got from the MI2 demo (in the "MI2 Demo Secrets" thread). Otherwise, I'd say the soundtrack is almost perfect. I'm looking forward to your future creations.
Laserschwert
All right, I tried mailing you the file, but my mailserver wasn't so happy about the file-size, so I'll probably go the other way: uploading it to my webspace (but tomorrow). As for the 3 demo-MIDIs... sure, I'll convert them... but I am not sure if I will include them on my site, because they interfere mith my cover (but since Thrik is hosting the other files, he can of course upload them to the GFN webspace). I guess those files will be small enough for me to mail them to you. But now I am going to bed. G'night. (By the way, my site is now including the links to the MP3s... the ones on the GFN server.) Fred
Wow, what great tracks. You've done such a good job on them. Have you done a MI1 soundtrack yet? Any plans to? Might be worth a thought if you haven't, judging by these it would definitly be worth considering....
ED
I love the soundtrack itself but it appears I can't currently acess your site, and so can't see any of the covers you've made. Is it just me? or is there a new link?
Fred
I'm having the same problem... Maybe it's just down at the minute?
Thrik
Okay, two things to note. Firstly, I had to reupload Track 17 of CD1 and Track 18 of CD2 due to them both having a large portion cut off because of them not uploading properly. This is fixed now and you can redownload them. Secondly, the files will be moving to the SCUMM Bar (http://www.thescummbar.com) ftp as soon as possible, so if these links die they will on there. Laserschwert
Well, it appears as if the server is down... I hope it won't last long. I hoped I finally found a server which would keep my site for a while (actually I had setup a mirror, which was working yesterday, but today the host itself has a completely different homepage, and no word mentioned about the free webspace they offered... great.) As for the MI1-soundtrack, I wasn't actually considering to convert that one too, since there are already MP3 files of them on the web (the ones from the Monkey Island CD version). So I was planning (given that I would ever have the necessary webspace) on uploading those. But I'll think about it.
C Shutt
These are great, even if there is a little too much pan flute for my tastes.
ED
When can we expect the missing track 16 from CD 2 to be ready?
Thrik
Okay, the files have been moved to the Scumm Bar. You will have to change your URLs I'm afraid if you're linking to them. http://www.scummbar.com/mi2 The html file will remain on the GFN, but the actual files are now moved. Enjoy

Laserschwert
All right, I found out that my host deleted all accounts, because they installed a new file-manager. So I'm re-uploading the site right now (including the missing MP3 for Thrik to put up). And thanks for moving the files, Thrik. All should be up and running again in about an hour or so. Thanks for your support, and keep the comments coming! EDIT: OK, maybe not in an hour... their automated sign-up system should sent me my activation password any minute... or hour... or within this week. So the site stays down for the time being. By the way, is there a staff member from the "Scumm Bar" here, that I can contact concerning them hosting the files?

elTee
Bloody typical. You sit around waiting for something interesting to happen, and it only comes around when you're on holiday. Oh well, time to start downloading... By the way, I haven't been able to load the site with the cd covers on, but I made a great cover for a Monkey Island 1 CD I made. If you go here and click miscellaneous, then soundtracks there's a picture of it.
Doctor
Thanks very much for this great soundtrack! I'm waiting for download the covers.
Laserschwert
RemiO! I should've known it. First of all thanks for hosting, and second of all... "interested" in hosting some more files? Or better: "kind enough to let a kiss-ass waste your precious webspace with MP3s he doesn't want to waste his precious HD space"?
Remi
Sure, we'll take it. Thrik seems to have been doing a good job with it so far, so I'll let him deal with it. ;-*
