Do you think that's a resonable price or are people going to think I've gone to the loony bin?

Looks to be in very good condition, how many miles? What's original? What's been restored?

To be honest, unless you answer those questions with some off the wall answers $8,000 ain't bad! Now, If I could only make it to Cali and back for about $500, I'd take that deal! :D

Its got a brand new fully functional top

My fiance has had it for 7 years

It has new body work

The paint was new 7 years ago, so it does need some paint

Body is in Excellent Condition

The dash needs Restored as it is old

It has mach seats - black vinyl the interior is in good condition, however the driver seat has a small tear

We would have re-done the interior but have run short on time.

It has 35K on new motor

Dual exhuast with Flowmaster

Um what else...I don't know much about cars.

Hey, my roommate wants to trade your '69 Ford for a very good German car

A Volkswagen Golf from '95

it's a great offer you can't refuse.

I have a broken 1955 broken Ford Thunderbird in my yard that I REALLY want my mom to have fixed so I can drive it

So true. If you ever see my sister on the road...leap out of your car.

I've got a funny story, but I don't want to hijack the thread. $8000 seems really low, but I guess it's regional like edlib said.

I thought it seemed lowed but its hard to find car prices for classic cars.

Anyways...I believe the transmission is in awesome condition and I know nothing of drivetrain etc.

No we've never had it dynoed but I can tell you that it has taken every car I've come against. And I'm no race car driver!

i LOVE automatic shifting (especially the steering-weel ones) ..

in germany (europe) most cars are manual shifted (it's standard).. and this is quite annoying especially in the city..

NOT thati cannot shift.. there is NO prob with it. but one hand is always busy with shifting.. ;)

plus i dont need a fast car ..

1. everybody HEARD i got fast away from that crossway .. but noone (e.g. the lads) saw it..?

2. baby on board.

3. i like it to drive .. cool.

i heard in the us most cars are automatic shifted.. could be a reason for wanting a 'normal' shifting..
