AGZanthia
Yes and no. First time when I played the game I did go to that date, for it was a promise. Second time when I began to replay TLJ I didn't go, for I knew nothing good will come from thise date anyway.
Mattsius
Both actually, but I dated him the first time, so that pretty much counts. Wanted to see what that Zackass would do.

remixor
I did, because despite the incredibly forgiving nature of adventure games, I was still quite worried that if I broke the promise I would somehow mess something up. In a similar vein, in Arcadia at the cups handler, I tried to bet my gold ring since I had no money, but I made sure I saved first just in case for some reason I lost it and couldn't get it back. You'd think I'd know after 11 years of playing adventure games that they pretty much usually don't let you do stuff that's going to mess everything up. I'm still playing TLJ for the first time (ridiculous, I know). I've just returned from my first visit to Arcadia and went into the cathedral on Hope Street, though I haven't talked to anyone inside yet. Mattsius
Now when I start thinking about TLJ, I get a sudden urge to play it again..........................................but sadly I don't have the time right now. I'll just have to make some time this fall, because this game is just so magical in it's greatness.
Firefoot
The first time I felt sorry and did date him... the second time I didn't... and the other times I really can't remember any more... [edit]I felt sorry for him because I can imagine how it is if someone forgets you...

At least on my computer TLJ tends to crash in the most unexpected places, so it's always good to save often! 2/3 I didn't make April date Zack. feisar
*sigh* i still havent completed TLJ Ive got more than halfway through the thing around 7 or 8 times but always hit game crashing/ruining bugs, although with my current game I just got bored and stopped playing at the police station I always go on the date with zack!! call me wierd but i kinda had a crush on him for a while!! Probably due to the lack of attractive men in videogames, how all the other blokes in the game are skanky, that he was so badly scripted that he had to be hiding something or there was some hidden depth and the sound never used to work so i never realised how stupid his voice was *hehehe*

Honey, believe me, love may be blind, but so is desperation. With other sexy and respectful digital men such as Sam Fisher, Patrick Galloway, Indiana Jones, and George Stobbard, what would you be grieving about? Or do you prefer to be treated like leftover meat, as April might have ended up being?

The least you could do is come back with me to my room. I'll take good care of you." Trep: Zack: "WTF! This is what I f@cking get for all my troubles?!!! You f@cking skank, you'll pay for this! Yeah, Trep-f@cking-Ryan! You're gonna f@cking pay for this! F@ckF@ckF@ckF@ckF@ck!! And you know what else?! F@ck!!!" Trep:

Tanukitsune
Its been a long time since I played it... But I'm pretty sure that I didnt go on the date, I don't remember any concert.... But now I'm a bit confused... Was there a boy April liked in the game? One that worked at the bar? Maybe I did make April date him.... but I usually don't do stuff like that! Unless its funny!
remixor
Tanukitsune: the date was with Zack, who lives across from you in your apartment. Charlie, the guy who works in the bar, likes April but she likes him too. We're talking about a guy April (and apparently everyone else) hates. GinnyW
First time, I really didn't want to but did in case something bad will happen. It happened anyway, but at least I got to slap Zack around! The second time I stayed at the bar. The third time I think I dated him again because the dialog was funny after it. Plus slapping Zack again, Yay! Btw, I think April liked Charlie, but not really in a romantic manner. I think she falls for Cortez a bit later on. Damn, I have no time, and yet I have to replay TLJ, GF and several more games. PS. It's a sign of a good and immersive game if you worry about what will happen of you do something, evn though the manual specificly says there are no dead ends and you can't die .
