Datheus
Same here. My favorite part is the "boat anchor". Heh. It's pretty well done. All in all though, you can't deny the power of the Mac. It's like trying to argue which is better: Coke or Pepsi? McDonald's or Burger King? etc, etc, etc. It's all a matter of preference.
TheJackal
he's talking about mac OS 9 and obviously doesn't know how to use it properly my favorite is the Mac Gamer video: http://webdev.o1.com/rvb/movies/switch/RvB_switch.mov
RoguePhotonic
Oh you can compare them alright...compatibility is why...it took a year before americas army came out for the mac.
Datheus
That has nothing to do with it. That's not Mac's fault. That's the game devs fault. The bigger market is with Windows and so they just choose to go with Windows because it'll pull in more cash.
RoguePhotonic
Yeah well that's my point to..the devs don't care so I want to be on the OS they do care about
BCanr2d2
Nothing to do with compatability, it's having to develop the game to work in an environment that doesn't have DirectX, not too sure what the Mac uses for that level of access to the hardware Develop for a DirectX environment, and you can be relatively general, and allow DirectX to work out if it can or can't execute what you've asked.... Lil Killa
Loved it RP thanks for shareing it with everyone:D I have to use macs at school and hate them. Even when I do stuff correctly it crashes and a million other things. Part of my hate comes from me not knowing abything about macs but the majority is the way everything is on a mac...
