Well, that could be it, or it couldv'e been your sleeping cycle. You know, if you're used to going to bed at 2 and waking up at 12 or whatever and try to get to sleep at 11, it'll throw the whole cycle off:D. I know first day last year, I was used to going to bed at 3, I tried going at 11, I didn't get to sleep 'till 5 and then I woke up at 6. First day of school on an hour's sleep, wasn't fun.

Being excited for school is fine as long as you use it as a social gathering instead of a learning institution.

I can't wait for school ;)

well I was excited about my classes also. I am taking some really cool computer classes!

What is WRONG with you people?! School is absolutely the WORST thing EVER! Anyone who does not HATE school is a huge nerd! Getting up at 7:00 AM every morning... Sitting at an uncomfortable desk for the entire day... Running a freaking mile every week... Getting home just in time for dinner and then having to do MORE work at home... There's no time to play Jedi Outcast!

I would be excited about school, but I have a total of one period with one friend this year.

Do you go to a large city school by any chance? 'Cause I go to a backwoods school with close to 600 students total and I have 7 out of 8 classes with a few of my friends and no less than 3 out of 8 with any of my other friends. :D

School is great and I stand by that. Wake up at 7? I drink enough coffee and pop at school to cancel it out. Uncomfortable chairs? Yeah, but some have the backs bent so badly that it's almost like a bed. Running a mile every week? Yeah that sucks but I could use the exercise. Having to do more work at home? Don't. :D

I'm sorry but school (at least high school and college, elementary can go to hell) is one of those things you're gonna remember for the rest of your life so you might as well make the best of it, being miserable throughout it isn't going to do much to help so just enjoy it. Plus, when it comes to homework, I personally do the bare minimum. Yeah, you don't do as good as possible but who wants to look back at their high school years and remember more text books than parties?

(P.S. all of the above was said, based on the assumption that the poster was being serious, however his final statement leads me to believe he may have been joking. :D)
