  1. hey, I hope to have the Demo ready to be tested tomorrow, i am having an issue with one script for the last module..everything else is golden,....ugh darn script

  2. Hey,

     

    I'm in need of some Scripting help.

     

    I'm trying to remove any possible armor, grenades, weapons, ...from the inventory of the PC.

     

    So far i have only found a script that destroys all items in inventory including datapads and other items which i do not want to be destroyed.

     

    I seem to be hitting a wall in my search ..nothing seems to be working properly...and i can't help but to think to myself why doesn't the destroy script tag do the job..but nope,..something that i thought would be an easy script has lead to me looking for the pepo to relieve heart burn.

     

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  3. Hey, re did the module with Uldir being introduce and his basic clothing has the red strip on the leg. Not sure if the tgs is correct with the proper clothing uti?

    Also i can send you the next beta test build this weekend if you want test/play. would help you see things better for your editing.

  6. I could always need another writer or writing editor who could take what i wrote and tweak it. The editor actually could use more than just writing from scratch.

    Mainly work and the mod.

    Basically burning the candle at both ends.

     

    I am so look forward to the Demos release since then i can release the facebook RoR page and start getting the word out especally if the player feed back is good. :-)

  13. Hey good news I know understand the system for the gui change color.

     

    I have already started with the color you have for small menus..etc. The test for the one line bubbles over NPcs is now that color. I have to go into the override and remove the original colors for certain icons since it over laps.

     

    I will post some pics tonight to get everyone feedback on the color. Once we got a positive feedback on that color will change them all. The only thing is it takes time since you have to change the color of every icon and bar individually/manuelly in the gui file.

     

    This means we can totally change the color and even the shapes of the objects, since this would be hex edit of the gui which in theory should work.

  14. i have not been able to change the text color yet. I did change the color behind the the dlg text in conversations so i know it does change things so then its possible to change the text. Will have to play around since there are a lot of line with color in the gui file.

  16. Not sure if its hex edit is needed or simply edit the color lines in the kgff program

     

     

    Edit: I did some testing and the kgff program using those numbers for the colors do work. I just didnt place it in teh right spot but it does change things so this is a move to getting this all changed, Thanks! Great Find!

     

    The Hedi edit is good if we want to change the actual bars, fonts, and other icon base items

  18. Im right now jusg adding more placeable in 3-4 of the modules to help create a better atmosphere. Im looking at thursday to give out for testing since i know during week its hard for everyone to test due to work and or class, so taken the next day or two to add more dlg and placeable for mood. :-)

    What i was look for is a rough map to show where they are going to be placed. I have the dlg but dont know where these npc should be standing. If you can make a basic popuoation map if ref to which might be merchants or where you want certain moods. The module is big.

  23. What you can do is ass some stains but make them dark so they look old and can not tell if blood or some others material. They scratches can look like the armor was beaten up by a force beast or some creature, just some small battle scar.

  24. I would leave the armor as is since it works great for the NPc that it will be =)
