Not a textbook, but... I know that she is a little bit biased, probably because there are a lot of Mormons in my class and she doesn't want ot upset them. That is just what I think.
I am remaining neutral in that thread (though it will probably just die). You asked me a question, whether or not I believe that chimps and humans have a common ancestor, and I answered it. I have already told you your my motive, to inform. I really don't understand what the problem here is...there is no ulterior motive.
What exactly is the article saying then? From what I read, it is that there is a difference in how chimps and humans process HIV. I am not trying to out think you, win or anything.

Alright then
Not according to my science teacher...she lectured us on how there is two types of evolution--macroevolution and microevolution. I can jot down what she said, if you would like me to. I am just going off of what she has told me.
I am not playing both sides here. I am solid in my thoughts and opinions on whether or not humans or chimps have a common ancestor, but as I said before, that really is not my point of creating that thread. To tell you the truth, I do not believe that humans and chimps have a common ancestor for my own personal reasons. The thread was merely informational and informative. When I said "I guess that we are not so similar now, eh?" I was literally saying that we are not as similar as people may have thought that we were.

The reason behind posting that thread was not to get into another evolution debate. I know that I would have been shot down very quickly if I was arguing it in context to the article that I posted. It was merely informational, that scientists have discovered differences.
I would seem that genetically we are similar because of the many anatomical and physiological characteristics that humans and chimps have.
Why yes, I do find that interesting.

I am about 5 feet 9 inches and the snow was up to my thighs. Lots of snow, and it is not even funny.
The holidays are good. My mom's birthday is on the 21st and my little sister's birthday is on the 25, Christmas.
Great work out though, you know you get your walking in, and some weights. Do that for an 3 hours and you are good. We are getting a snow blower (hopefully tonight) because shoveling 30 inches of snow takes a lot of time and a lot of effort. Do that every day for the rest of the season, and you won't be a happy camper.

Snow, that is whats up. 30 inches in the last 24 hours. I have already shoveled for 3 hours this morning, school was cancelled (snow day), and it is cold. Other than that, I am good. Christmas Break is supposed to be tomorrow, but I highly doubt that we (I) will have school tomorrow if we have gotten 30 inches of snow. It is still snowing too.
I am good though, taking a break. Probably gonna go shovel for another 2 hours this evening.

It is okay. My family doesn't normally do much for Christmas because it can get pretty expensive and I have a pretty big family-what 7 people. :/
Good though, looking forward to winter break.
