Haha, but I think that's not his hip bone, but part of his coat design. But now it looks like his buttocks and and I can't unsee it! What could work for building a MI1 Lechuck, is making it gigantic. This way the small outline may work with regular blocks, but you'd have to spend a lot of money on Legos, I guess.

When I saw the trailer and the first screenshots of Mêlée, I imagined to dive into this run-down island, overtaken by ghost- and zombie-pirates. That you couldn't just walk around freely anymore, but have to be very careful, because Lechuck's henchmen were in control. I imagined a much slower-paced gameplay and a more sinister atmosphere overall. Feeling lost and exploring an abandoned island, occasionally finding someone who's still in hiding. I lost a bit interest when I saw the fast-paced walking animations of the later gameplay material they released in the summer, but was still very excited to finally play it. When it got released, I cancelled all my relevant YouTube subscriptions to avoid spoilers. I played through it in a couple of days and found it very emotional, but also was a bit disappointed because I didn't get what I wanted: A world that I'd enjoy being in, just wandering around, visiting places and listening to the soundtrack, like I did so many times with the first three games. But I digress... I was pretty convinced that the announcement was real. When Ron finished TWP and said he was working on an improved engine for future games, I knew on some level that I'd have to play the waiting game from now on, just forget about it for some years and things will happen. And they did!

I've read it a couple of years ago, would be nice to dive in again.

I just realized that once again there's a character on the cover (of the soundtrack) that doesn't appear in the game. Another victim for Terror Island in the making.

I like this a lot, I had to think of Marius' 'I wonder what happens in...': ' I'm Guybrush Threepwood and I am dead, wait, am I singing? Laaaaaa!'

I just played it. Boybrush doesn't exist in this ending? Feels delusional to choose this. I thought he'd still tell the story to his son in the end. Hmm. Btw the music during the credits is great, very lively, I don't recall hearing it in the game.

I think this is my canonical ending! It incorporates the theme park and the hell idea. It doesn't devalue the stories of all the games, because the secret is a real thing (gate to hell) and the fantastic pirate world is real too. The flooring inspector reality is literally hell and it's the result of finding the secret. It makes a lot of sense, would be cool if it was actually intended.

Lechuck mentioned in his diary that he gazed at the stars and even found the 'grog mug'! There might have been a puzzle involving the night sky. The Melee clock was mentioned in this thread, and it feels like there was a puzzle planned: -There's a gear from the clock in the museum and a dialoge about repairing it. -the clock got updated with sun and moon symbols -the same symbols are on the clock on Cogg island (as someone mentioned above), which shows the same time. -the map to the secret shows the Melee clock tower, but with a different time, which is very strange. I made myself sad, because I feel like I would have really enjoyed these kind of puzzles that might have gone deeper and screw with the reality. I imagine the 'secret' only being in place when the time is right, so changing the time on the notorious clock might have been essential have access to it.
