The reverse side of the Monkey Island 2 box?! Lovely!! Thank you generous collector, and Laserschwert!
-
Is that a jumbo box for Curse of Monkey Island? Like an enlarged store display box?

The Monkey Island box set from Limited Run Games

Oh then I clearly didn't look hard enough at that item. I just assumed that one was correct. I guess I had my attention drawn to the bland poster and dreaming of what could have been. -

Am I the only one not bummed about the LucasFilm text on the USB? Also as I saw elsewhere on twitter, inventory items as pins is more exciting to me than Guybrush heads. -

Why can't the poster instead be some form of the Tri Island Map in poster or cloth form?! Please!! And Udvarnoky, I know you're talking about me. -
It is now! (Update: And for others, I found some sites with not the complete book, but here is seemingly a complete edition of Dale Dassels FOA novelization. https://www.deviantart.com/whipwarrior/art/Indiana-Jones-and-the-Fate-of-Atlantis-697644342

Could you please show more of the "Monkey Island Special" box, the smaller Fate of Atlantis box above Thimbleweed Art Book, and the two book-looking LucasFilm items behind Labirynth??

Hey, then I probably saw you there at your booth, just as I working at a booth katty-korner from Gary and Ron. It was hard to not just go hang out at their booth when I could see them all day. But I'm afraid that I was fanboying over Ron too much and left Gary undeservedly without much praise. They were both kind enough to sign some of the Lucas boxes I specifically brought out to PAX East that year. Gary jokingly said "there'll be on ebay by tonight" and I said "No way! Straight to my game room wall!"

The Monkey Island box set from Limited Run Games

I've made some comments on the twitter post as well, but I wanted to put here some as well. The Ultimate Insult poster -What a waste of a print. The Monkey Island navigation recipe would be far better received and enjoyed than this marker-scribbled poster of my least favorite of the games. Sure there was humor in that game but jeez, this may as well be the dunce cap. I guess we're lucky it's not the Abomination inventory item. What else could be made from EMI that I would care for, I don't know yet. The Guybrush statue - While nothing in particular is putting me off of it, it's still not exceptional. I would rather like a Curse version of a Murray skull, as others have also mentioned in tweets. The Shadowbox, the E Ticket, the disc, all lovely! I'm looking forward to the comprehensive-sounding book. And I'm not too bothered by the USB drive but it's slightly too easy and low effort. The black box to cover it all is disappointing. -

We'll now I have to hear what went wrong with the Grim rerelease from another fans point of view, so please, do tell. And Sopabuena, thanks for the details shots of the MI Limited Release. I've been looking forward to their upcoming MI PC releases and this is good to know. -
I did get myself one of those and had it professionally framed with some really nice driftwood-style wood. It cost way more than I expected it to, but I was really happy with the end results. It's currently packed away right now as I am in the middle of moving houses, but I'll update this thread with a few pictures when I get the chance.

This is very well done. The composition is beautiful and the style is wonderful. And I would love to see Bruce take on the role of Stan.
-
I believe ManiacZombies me can help on some of this, but all of my things are boxed up right now due to me moving houses. I should have ZAMN and GP SNES US releases for your work. I do not currently have a European release of GP; maybe I'll scour ebay.

MI2 ending and the departure of Ron Gilbert from LucasArts

The what?!? This is a Lucas game?! Edit: There's this video: http://www.convivial.com/project/early-interactive-works/ As for the MI2 ending, don't forget that the Lucas Teams were quite into Twin Peaks tv zaniness -
Shivers BoardGame hires LucasArts alums

Sorry Jenni. I was unaware of a Sierra title with the same name. I've updated the thread title to hopefully better clarify. But now I want to see what kind of boardgame you can come up with based on the Sierra Shivers horror title. -
Someone asked for all the known official posters... It looks like Full Throttle got one. There's a not-so-great one on eBay right now: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Full-Throttle-Large-Original-Poster-Lucasarts-PC-Game-vintage-Lucasfilm-Games/362934487559

Just chiming in that I have an original Oculus headset and I very much look forward to getting this. Also Max becoming a weapon to the dart board was among the good number of bits that I laughed at and that excites me.

Shivers BoardGame hires LucasArts alums

Yeah, sorry, the board game. I meant to link the mojo post (and put my comment there) but I can't seem to log in there anymore. https://mixnmojo.com/news/Whats-Bill-Tiller-been-up-to-Board-games -
The game Shivers, showcasing Bill Tiller's artwork has picked up some additional LucasArts alumni. Larry Ahern Larry is a former LucasArts adventure game designer/writer/artist currently working in the California theme park industry. He is part of the creative vision behind such beloved titles as Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, and The Curse of Monkey Island. For The Shivers, he'll be writing some of the episodes included in the Core game, bringing his unique blend of cleverness and humor to our pop-up adventure! Jared Sorensen Considered to be one of the founding fathers of indie roleplaying, Jared started publishing tabletop RPGs back in the '90s (he's also another LucasArts alumni) . In 2003, he created Action Castle, the first-ever Parsely game that brings the intrigue of '80s-style text based adventures onto tabletops around the world. For The Shivers, Jared will be overseeing and editing all of our 16 initial episodes to ensure they flow logically and intuitively with minimal continuity problems.

During the MixNMojo visit to LucasArts (and became a featured article), didn't the mojo crew snap a picture of some MI concept art that included the "pre-cannibal village lookout area"? I think that was the major first time that screen was made general knowledge. I couldn't find that image on MixNMojo so I had to go with this poor quality image from the internet. Ignore the red arrow and someone incorrectly thinking the image was of another part of Monkey Island topography. (The image is from this other article from a few weeks ago where other people just happened upon this image for the first time, but apparently within a broadcast news segment. https://kotaku.com/1990-tv-news-report-is-for-the-monkey-island-fans-in-th-1844598533 ) I had thought about working on "finishing" up the location properly. I also wonder as to the general point of such a location. I could see it as a preparation room before going to the cannibal village, as once you enter there you have to interact with them in some capacity. It might be a bit of a reprieve room, like when you need a reprieve from dealing with LeChuck hunting you down in the final acts of the games. -
Can't access my MixNMojo.com account so I'm posting here. https://www.polygon.com/2020/8/27/21404465/sam-and-max-vr-game-announcement-release-date-price
