While the queen's death does dominate the news worldwide, I doubt it has enough of an impact outside of the UK to delay anything. At this point, international concern seems mainly to be about her corgis.

I think they said in the commentary that she's basically more of a "double agent," more interested in her own agenda. Something like that.

The Force Unleashed was actually quite enjoyable. Never got around to the sequel, alas.

You keep saying that, but he truly 100% didn't and I'm saying that as someone who took your word for it -- ¬ -- and spent hours trying to find them. He did maybe three tweets, the death of the seagull being the central part of it. I did salvage his MI2 tweets, though.

MI1 was... not good... but MI2 had a point and click interface more tailored to consoles and it worked surprisingly well. Quick and responsive. Fairly sure ReMI will be more custom tailored, though, as it sounds like they spent a lot of time on the control schemes.

I like Star Wars, too. More than I like Star Trek. I’ve never actually watched Star Trek, so maybe that’s an unfair comparison?

Meanwhile, I'll be playing the game slowly but I won't hesitate to use in-game hints if I'm stuck. I still have nightmares of being stuck in MI2 on the Amiga waiting for a magazine walkthrough to help me continue. (The puzzle: Putting Kate's flier on the wanted poster.)

I suspect we'll see him in similar intervals as we did in CMI. Going by the #MonkeyIslandMonday teaser set on Monkey, it's implied that Murray makes his way to the island by himself. That's the sort of thing we saw in CMI.

I, too, am awaiting the return of Hugo, the perfume salesperson. I think it'll be a while. :~

I'm thinking the plethora of Murray appearances might be a bit of pandering to the CMI crowd. So much of the marketing is aimed at fans of the two originals, so it'd make sense to throw some morsels to those who consider CMI to be the pinnacle of the series. Or maybe I'm completely wrong and Murray will be a constant sidekick. 🤷‍♂️

All said, it’s the first interesting interview I’ve read in a while — it actually has quite a bit of good non-spoilery information. Linux port is all but confirmed for those who are interested in that kind of stuff.

The Ars articles might not be chock full of spoilers, but compared to most of the other ones we've seen... you might want to skip it if you don't want a couple of pretty decent reveals.

And to address the Wordle/Mojole thing: Total coincidence that both featured "WHOOP" on the same day. Unless Wordle ripped off Mojole, which sounds plausible.

While we haven't had an official editorial meeting about it, we'll definitely make sure to keep it spoiler free for a couple of weeks. There'll obviously be some news, but we have a spoiler tag for anything minor -- the major stuff will be links to elsewhere, internally (separate page, below the cut, etc.) or externally.

The whole MI1 originally having the MI2 ending came from a — or possibly more than one — magazine from that time. With the editorial quality of those gaming magazines at the time, it is questionable if they were correct or not.

Ah yeah, that old article might look very outdated two weeks from now, but I think it held its own at the time. We'll see soon enough!
