  1. It's a fine read, but nothing earth shattering. Only real spoiler are the screenshots posted above.
  2. Yep, that was what I edited. I’m more talking about a proper high res original. Would make for a good poster.
  3. There are people who do this a lot better than I do, and hopefully there'll be an official version, but either way... Here's the cover without text, etc.
  4. As I've mentioned elsewhere, I'm pretty sure we're giving this way more thought than the MI1 team did. :~ Also, that would suggest Fester is standing there with his back turned to the alley. We are solving the big ones here!
  5. For god's sake, look at the psssst. And yes, I realize I'm getting into "the grassy knoll" territory here. ¬
  6. As for the portal, that was pretty much cracked here previously, I do believe. We are traveling down quite the portal here ourselves it does feel like.
  7. I don't know if it has been mentioned -- thread is moving fast -- but Terror Island is the name of an infamous Houdini movie from the 1920s. Without going into details, it is a... problematic... watch. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:TerrorIsland-6reelversion-1922.ogv Still, its notoriety might be the basis for a reference. (Or it's a complete coincidence with a generic name, who knows?!)
  8. This is a ridiculous thread and only ridiculous people would have an opinion about this. So let me start with video evidence that clearly will show that #1 is the correct answer. To repeat: Number one. It's open and shut, of course -- we all see where the "Pssssst" is coming from. Need more? #3 makes no sense. The street the alley veers off from would be too narrow. #4 and #5? Wrong perspective. #6? We can wait and see if ReMI makes it canon. #2 then? That's the only other conceivable choice, but the "Pssssst" suggests it cannot be it either. There, I'm closing the thread now we all agree I'm correct good thread!
  9. So, to not derail the main ReMI thread, I'm making a separate one for this. I couldn't find any particularly interesting assets while ripping the official site, however, if you want a Create Your Own Stan and Otis, here's your chance: Main Stan sprite Stan's default hands Jacket pattern Otis sprite The only other part that was quasi interesting was the outside of the building. Maybe you can see this with a larger screen resolution, but I didn't know the locksmith shop was hiding in the exteriors.
  10. There are correct answers, by the way: Amiga, Amiga, and unnecessary.
  11. A quick look suggests that they default to 1st of the (presumed) release month: "Skate Story","date":"2023-04-01T12:00:00.000Z" "date_override":"Coming 2023" "Reigns: Three Kingdoms","date":"2022-12-01T07:00:00.000Z" "date_override":"Coming 2022" Unless both of those games will release on the 1st of their respective months, too.
  12. A major pain in the ass -- had to write a server-side script, guessing how theirs work -- but I got a lot of it assembled: https://scummbar.com/remirip/ Still needs a couple of more additions, but will probably put it on a Mojo subdomain when it's ready.
  13. The two reasons I could see it happening is: 1) they could announce the date during gamescom -- week-and-a-half before the 1st -- and 2) the 1st is the Thursday before a long weekend in the US. The latter can go both ways, of course -- will the long weekend mean people will head out of town? Or will it give them time to play the game and hype it for the next week? It's plausible they'd bet on the latter. (Presumably, Germany isn't having a holiday that weekend, either.) With all said and done, though... still betting on the 19th.
  14. After the massive media leak -- Legend, SCUMM Bar, and Mojo are pretty much the trinity of news in general -- I wouldn't be surprised if Devolver was forced to reveal the date very soon. ("Wouldn't be surprised" may or may not mean "would be surprised.")
  15. I wouldn't be surprised if inventory was next. We got a look at a revamped chapter screen, preexisting location, dialogue choice, preexisting characters, and a voice reveal -- inventory and/or UI seems like a logical next step. At this point, a release-date reveal looks more plausible to arrive after the game is released.
  16. Also impressive: his head is still attached.
  17. Don’t be afraid of a little esoteric trivia, people. 🤷‍♂️
  18. I do believe you can root beer him, too, so RIP in one of the multiverses.
  19. Let’s resurrect an evergreen poll for these pre-ReMI times. Henchperson — who’s the ultimate one? (Votes are public.) (And let’s do multiple choices, why the hell not?)
