  1. Firefox on Windows, Safari on Mac. Chrome sometimes, but I am trying to let it mature a bit before I use it mainstream. _EW_
  2. ^^Absolutely. I only cuss when I get really mad. Or sometimes here. I cussed once at an 'inopportune' time and since then I've been really conscious about it. _EW_
  3. Oh, I'm aware of that. But since he failed to clarify this in the beginning (claiming that there are no "laws in this country which disqualify...") my points were very much valid. And then, of course, when I make the point as to his error, he quickly changes his tune, so to speak. Excuse me, but what is this bull****? I read your original post just fine and then responded accordingly. Apologies, your highness, for missing said post. That should have been fairly obvious, since I asked you to share your point of view in my most recent post. I would not have posted my query (and perhaps not even my evidence) if I had not overlooked that line. A simple quote of your earlier statement in response would have done nicely, instead of being an ass. _EW_ EDIT:: Also, for future reference - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moving_the_goalpost
  4. ^^What he said. I'll miss you, Avery. You never fail to bring excitement. Very true. _EW_
  5. Perhaps you didn't see my post that had quotes from all of the state constitutions which specifically state that atheists may not run for higher office. I believe that you said you would consider it an injustice being done. Please, I'd love to hear your point of view. _EW_
  6. Pardon me, but I don't think you said anything about federal laws. Here's what I was referring to: Sources: http://www.msa.md.gov/msa/mdmanual/43const/pdf/const.pdf http://www.scstatehouse.gov/scconstitution/a04.htm http://www.constitution.legis.state.tx.us/ http://sites.state.pa.us/PA_Constitution.html http://www.sos.state.ms.us/pubs/constitution/constitution.asp and there are others. _EW_
  7. Well now you've done it. Achilles: would you like to argue this point or should I? _EW_
  8. Oh, they're snazzy - just overly expensive _EW_
  9. For sure. RJM! Well there's a name I haven't seen in a while. Who knew that you were still lurking around here? _EW_
  10. So, Rayston, you believe that video games are to blame for the children who perform school shootings, etc? Rather than parenting or environment? _EW_
  11. Bull****. Dellienware is ridiculous as well - you can build a comparable machine for much less. On their site, design a $3200 computer, then put all of the same parts on a newegg wishlist. I guarantee it will come out to less than $2000. With Apple, you're paying an extra $300 to not have do deal with Bill Gates or any of his stupid products (IE, Windows, etc). For that very reason, I just had my friend buy a 15" MacBook Pro. For her, it was a good recommendation - she has the money to upgrade from a PC to a Mac (and yes, I do see it as an upgrade) and she doesn't need to game, which is the sole reason to stick with Windows IMHO. _EW_
  12. Do violent video games corrupt our youth? No. [/thread] _EW_
  13. It's good to see you again. :)

  14. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131359&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL071409&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL071409-_-MotherboardsIntel-_-LC6A-_-13131359 What do you think about this one? A bit on sale, is it worth it? _EW_
  15. Interesting thread topic. _EW_
  16. I don't see a problem with her stating this - it's obviously true. _EW_
  17. I absolutely love Chess - I try to play it silently, quite a feat for someone like me. But as much as I love it, I'm woefully out of practice as I've been rather busy in RL recently. What the hell, Sabre! Why have you not asked me to partake of this tomfoolery? We must play a game posthaste (but not for a few days because I'm really busy right now ). My username is accessible from my profile. Please, don't hesitate. x2 _EW_ By the way, Dev, I have 50 friends but some of them are RL people.
  18. ^^This. Since we cannot determine the actual age of life/the earth/the universe, we create an arbitrary system based off of what we can understand. It's exactly the same with every other system that mankind has created. What discussion were you hoping this sparked? _EW_
  19. Wow, Congratulations Q! That's an awesome accomplishment - one that some people will never reach. Well done. _EW_ and yes, when I first saw this thread I was confused - if you left who would save me tons of cash on electronics?
  20. Pardon me, I misread his post. In my haste I responded fallaciously, but I think the point still holds barring the fact that the statistics are wrong. Sorry about that. Thanks for your understanding. _EW_
  21. This is absolute nonsense, as 76% of Americans have Christian religious beliefs whereas only 15-16% (depending on the study) are athiest/agnostic. As long as 3 out of 4 Americans are Christian, we're still going to maintain the Christian Morality System here in the US of A. _EW_
