Not really sure how many points I have in Luck, but I've been banned from Gomorrah and Ultra-Luxe. Pretty sure I have at least 7 in Luck.

Going to play through Fable 3 one more time then go back to Fallout: New Vegas.

A blast so far.

Played Fable 3 about 7 hours so far.

I went high on personality and speech along with Black Widow and Cherchez La Femme perks. So she just flashes a smile and bats her eyelashes at the bad guys and they fall to the side. Too bad that does not work with Super Mutants and Deathclaws.

Don’t think I’ve encountered Eddie yet. I’ve encountered a few NPC and creatures trapped in the landscape. After playing Fallout 3, I just consider that par for the course just annoying.

Completed Novac last night, for some reason I really enjoyed the “Come Fly with Me” quest, but not nearly as much as walking a certain unscrupulous person in front of dinosaur. I made Boone my companion for a short period until I found Veronica.

Really glad I bought this on the PC.

I never even think about pick pocketing, except reverse pick pocketing with a grenade. I haven’t tried it in Fallout: New Vegas, but it was a blast in Fallout 3, it was even an achievement.

Other than Powder Gangers, Jackals and Vipers, I have not really annoyed anyone yet. However, I’ve only meet those fractions plus New California Republic (rangers) and Caesar’s Legion thus far. Was tempted to kill a few Caesar’s Legion forces, but I figured it would have turned out about the same as my PC fight with the Deathclaws. Really love how this game forces you to choice your fights more carefully than Fallout 3 did. Just can’t kill everything and let the flying spaghetti monster figure it out.

I attempted to clean my apartment and wash clothes last night, but still ended up playing the game for 4 hours. I’ll have to pack fast tonight so I can get out of town. That means you will most like get ahead of me over the weekend. Hate that they release games during college football season.

I’m in Novac, finally. I’m pretty sure I could have gotten here way faster, but I had a few detours through the waste. Found out that the locals sometimes know what they are talking about when I was torn apart by a pack of Deathclaws. Also meet a few Cazadores, you don’t want to meet them at lower levels. Reminded me of Cliffracers, but harder to kill and way more deadly, yet just as annoying.

For the Record:

I did stay up later than normal playing the game, but I did not pull an all-nighter.

How far have you gotten with Fallout: New Vegas? I’ve pretty much have done Goodsprings 3 times now. The first time I discovered just how ill prepared my set up was for the rest of the Mojave Wasteland. I had found Goodsprings easy, but after making my way to Primm I discovered my set up was lacking. The second start over was due to a mod being released that gave a female character more hair options, never did like the hair in Oblivion or Fallout 3.

The fun thing about even doing the tutorial and other quest around Goodsprings three times that I discovered something new every time. I’ll head for Primm again tonight, way more prepared this time having actually leveled up 3 times before leaving the area and actually paid attention to the crafting and being more prepared for the walk.

Don’t tell Sabre, but I can already tell I’m going to enjoy New Vegas a 100 times more than I did Fallout 3. At least I already like some of the NPCs.

It looks surprisingly decent. It isn’t the Duke, but at least it isn’t Glen Campbell either. Never did believe someone from Arkansas could play a Texan, especially not a Texas Ranger.

I miss my childhood too. It was a better simpler time with things like Robert F Kennedy’s assassination, Martin Luther King Jr’s assassination, the Vietnam War, Watts Riots, civil rights movement, Watergate…

I actually may have stolen my post from there as I remember seeing that before.

That is a no win debate, I don’t know if anyone could successfully argue either side. I can’t even make up my own mind. Can’t we just say both?

Well I pre-ordered Fallout: New Vegas, just the regular edition for the PC. Also ordered Fable 3 for the 360. I did get the collector edition of that because it adds quest/areas.

It is more like a state of mind rather than location.
