Brushguy Posted September 13, 2003 Posted September 13, 2003 It's been half a year since Lucasarts released the press release and website for the new Sam and Max game, they haven't said anything else since, and it's half a year until it's released. What do you think's going on? Either the project is lagging behind, or Lucasarts is keeping it behind doors in order to suprise us. I hope it's the latter, because after the tragic FT2 cancellation, I don't want ANOTHER adventure game cancelled.

Production may well have started by now, I dont know but I dont think theres much danger of cancellation right now. There will more likely be updates when the game is nearing completion.

Skinkie Posted September 25, 2003 Posted September 25, 2003 The one Infinate Machine was releasing a couple years ago that got cancelled was X-Box only, but since Lucasarts started on a sequel that is no longer the case. It is indeed a PC game.

I can't wait for Sam 'n' Max 2 tho Hopefully if they give it enough of a good view to the fans of other genres then it might be a hit, i think the comedy factor will be major factor

Skinkie Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 It won't be cancelled, it's set to be released in a couple months, they're far into production. They're just too busy working on it to spew a couple more pictures to rabid fans. Relax, take it easy, good things come with time.
