Clefo
Should I go out and get Jedi Academy, or save my money for something worthwhile?
Zygomaticus
If I were you, I would save my money for something worthwhile, like KOTOR for the PC or something else that might show up. JA seems like a waste to me...

JA seems like a waste to me... I agree, it's JKII over again with more saber choices this time.. At least with the demo which I wasn't impressed after playing it. As for another game, if your into MOH, then you might like Call of Duty in that case. Whatever floats your boat though. http://www.callofduty.com
Sherack Nhar
Wait until it comes down to an x-pack price, because that's what JA is.
Boba Rhett
What Phil said but make sure you get it then because it needs to be played. Look for my review shortly!

Link Antilles
Don't get it. There are a lot better games out there. Oh, I'm with krkode, wait for KOTOR!
Darth Homer
I would just like to say that I own Jedi Academy and think it is a pretty good game. Granted, it plays very similarly to JKII, but it is different enough to warrant a try. The missions are non-linear (you can choose a mission from a list) and the saber styles add enough variety for further play (Gamestop/Software Etc./Babbage's have a 7 day refund policy). However, I would also suggest that you take stock of anything you have been wanting to get for a while and go for that first.

DarthMuffin
Actually, the game is pretty good. The only real downside is that you don't play as Kyle New lightsabers are loads of fun, and the new gun is nice to have. I was surprised when I realized that it wasn't an x-pack... it keeps the same engine, but they enhanced the graphics (not by much, but still...). If you don't feel like you really want it, it may be best to wait (for KotoR and HotU). Personally, I've always liked the JK games, and I *had* to get this one as soon as possible. IMO, it's worth it.
