I consider it not a cheat I consider it weak :)

I had a duel against a dual wielder, he was doing a kata (normal) so normaly what I always do is roll and do a stab move but when I do that he is doing his Disco dance twirl (i call it the disco dance) I get killed in one hit from 100 to 0. *frustration*

Now its kinda like a spider luring me in to get killed, and frankly its cheap, sorry.

What they should do when a dual wielder is performing his kata it should be LOCKED! you cant move your mouse or whatever.

More power to the people who use them... I only use it if there is someone constantly laming who thinks he's a badass, just come here u little ponce i'll show u :p. Wouldnt use it in duels or anything thats too unhonorable =). So no I dont really consider it cheating I mean its not that big of a deal you can counter it easily. Yes I suppose that most of you are going to call me a noob and idiot and cheater, go right ahead haha... I mean yeah sure its fun to do but yes I am one of those people who complain that jk3 requires no skill to play and I think it'll be fine to see it go... might miss doing it every once and a while tho so if this makes me a noob or lame yeah sure go ahead and call me that.... but let me remind you all that this IS only a game and its meant to be fun not meant to get at each others throats over a move you cant counter cause the guy spins around like a stationary tornado ;)

I love it when they start the kata and someone manages to get a red breaker in there and stops the kata... The suckers don't realize it has stopped and/or have it scripted and start spinning around like fools while just standing there. :p

And yes, whoever does this usually equals a free kill for me. (Or for whoever else can execute a blue lunge quicker than me)

i just wanted to add that the ones spamming that are usually the top scorers

it does make me wish that i could move my twirly staff around...or at least the view around to see if someone is getting ready to kill my ass

same as the wall stick...id like to be able to look around with that too

Here we go again.

[rant]

The Saber Barrier is the most obvious move in the entire game. If a Dual Saberist ducks down...you move out of the way. If you're not looking at them when they do so...tough luck, you should have more situational awareness.

[/rant]

And by now, any Dual Saberist who does this move when people are looking, is contemplating suicide. As already stated above, the move is easy to avoid...and it opens up the Dual Saberist to a range of counter moves that can be one-hit kills (like the roll+stab). I hardly ever do that move any more for precisely that reason. I'd prefer an ordinary kata like the other stances, because the Saber Barrier is next to useless.

Besides - if you are asking for Dual Saberists to be 'stuck' in position while doing this move - then exactly the same rule should apply to the Kata moves of the other stances (and yes, you can still move around using those kata moves).

just do what I do:

set level 3 rage in your force menu

set level 3 drain in your menu as well

find a server with a regen time of 0 (most are 0 it seems)

look for a pack of people fighting

flip on rage and jump in the middle of it and do the Kata + spin while in rage

You can not be killed while in rage (rage is nifty like that) but if say, two people both hit you with head on roll+stabs at the same time, you will drop down to 1hp and come out of rage.

Just ride the rage spin out and hop out of the fight and get about 20 feet away (leave rage on).

once you are clear of the fight, turn rage off, you will regen fast so start draining the people fighting.

wait until the "rage slow down" effect is over and repeat often.

or as I like to do at times, flip on rage and "ass-rage fight" with the double sabers.

the 2 saber back slash is strong as hell, but when done while in rage it's a monster.

you can just wander backwards and mow down a crowd pretty fast (you move faster, have a stronger defense in case you walk into a Kata, and your back slash is better while in rage) if they are not too bright.

Do you know how many people I've killed with roll-stab when they do the saber-barrier? Too many to count. It is the most worthless move in MP becasue its so exploitable IMO. I don't even use it, I use the saber-staff because when they do a Kata, I can do that weird butterfly move into them and they die or have 1hp. :)
