I forget what it was called but I played one game on an Atari where you were a firefighter and had to put the flames out before they reached the top of the building and burned the little person. It was sweet.

JangoClone#104 Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 ha, you should see this one article in EGM. they made kids around the age 10-13 play games made in the 70-80s and see what their responces were. for example: Q-Bert: Kid 1: Hey look, that guys swearing Kid 2: Yea, i'd be swearing if i wasted a quarter on this crap Kid 3: Oh look, a ... thing. Kid 4: I just swear myself to death.

edlib Posted October 14, 2003 Posted October 14, 2003 Well, at the time (circa 1978 or 9) we thought they were da bomb! This is actually a dumbed down verision of the game, methinks. If I remember correctly: There was another castle and several other mazes,.. oh and an annoying bat that would fly around and steal whatever you were carrying. Still, it was fun to play again. Now if I could only find a flash version of "Yar's Revenge"...
