Surfnshannon
Don't get me wrong, I think the scene had purpose in the movie - etc, but just because they don't advertise the scene in movie posters etc doesn't mean that thousands of people didn't hear about the long sex scene. Tie Guy
I just want to say that i think ya'll are missing the point with the Architect. He was lying, and you can tell in Reloaded that Neo knew it. Remember, he says the machines can't live without humans, and he is right. The architect lies because he has to. They need him to go to the right to reset the system. What is he supposed to say, "and the door to the left leads back to the matrix, where you can possibly save both your love and the entire human race"? No, the real question should be why even have a door to the left? I think it has to deal with the concept that humans, including the One, must be given a choice or they cannot accept their plight. As for Revolutions itself, i liked it, but less than the second and a lot less than the first. It doesn't even answer why Smith was destroyed. It's like spontaneous combustion or what not. Maybe i just don't understand, but that didn't make any sense to me. And they definately overdid a few parts, like the waterballs at the end and the punch and the twenty some spikes sticking into Trinity. Still, an entertaining movie. Jared
Tie...guy? Fishflesh
look dudes, the machines rule. A peace ends the war. The war was started by the humans. Maybe now they have learned their lesson. The matrix still exist probably since the world to come back to is $#@#. Who wants to come back to that? Though if we were in the matrix, I think I would, no matter how bad the real world. The only question is, is it over?

Surfnshannon
I saw it Friday, at the IMAX theater. It was GREAT. I thought it was awesome. I still will need to see it a few times to fully understand it. I think that it wasn't dissapointing in the least. Yes, it was a little choppy, but there's not much you can do about that. They had so much going on in it. I cried during the death sequence, although I have to say COULD THEY DRAG IT OUT ANY LONGER. Guess you can't escape fate. I was really cheering for the butch girl and what's his face's wife/girl. I thought that sequence was great. But my absolute favorite scene would have to be when Trin says "I don't have time for this sh!t!" Great movie.

I thought it was so much better than Reloaded, even though I did feel the explanation of Neo's real world powers was very weak. I thought Smith had the best lines in the movie. "You knew I was going to do that, didn't you? But if you did then that means you set the plate there on purpose....." and "I'm not so bad once you get to know me." and "Why do you do it Mr. Anderson, why do you persist, why, why?" and "Yes, I remember, I said something to you. Everything that has a beginning has an end........No....." I think all of the Smith's blew up because there was still some of Neo left in the one Smith, just like there was some of the Oracle in the other. And Neo.....blew them up.......well hey, I was expecting something over the top, I mean there's no way they would have been able to show Neo kung fuing every single Smith, that would have been ridiculous. I was expecting something like in Reloaded where Neo blasts all of the Smiths off of him. I give it a 9 out of 10. I must see this movie again. It is my purpose. Tie Guy
Siv, then Siv, why wouldn't he just do that in teh beginning? Besides the fact that a fight is cooler and sells more tickets.
Surfnshannon
Because he didn't understand what he had to do in the beginning. He was blinded by his love for Trinity.

Sivy
also he wouldn't have saved zion and made peace between the humans and the machines.
Redwing
All I have to say at the moment is...I went to the movie expecting it to suck. But I loved it. Go figure? I really think the movie was handicapped, in a way that Reloaded completely avoided, by the fact that not everyone watched the Animatrix, or played through Enter the Matrix. I, on the other hand, have, several times. (Considering the direction they took with the end of the movie, they REALLY could've played the two Animatrix shorts, The Second Renassaince Part One and Two, before the movie) Also, I know this is supposed to be The End, but I judging from their previous MO, I bet the Wachowski Brothers purposely left some material unsaid for The Matrix Online. Sure, sounds like giving the moviegoers the shaft, but...*shrugs* All above things considered, I liked it better than Reloaded. I just cared alot more about the characters this time around. I really liked Trinity in the club scene, I was really scared for Seraph and the girl when they were running away from the flood of Smiths, I cried during Trinity's death scene...etcetera Wasn't Smith the destruction that the Architect promised? His job was to balance out equations, as the Oracle said, and Smith's reverse-One-ness (the Everyone?) was the result of an equation trying to balance itself out. Smith would eventually kill everyone connected to the Matrix by spreading through the machine world, destroying everything until nothing was left. That would eliminate the human and machine races quite effectively, wouldn't it?

Sivy
according to http://www.matrixonline.com the offical site for the MMORPG there will be agents, which of course means that the peace doesn't last long. because if anyone is free to leave the matrix if they want there shouldn't be a need for agents. its ironic that they gave revolutions the tag line 'everything that has a beginning has an end'

Crazy_dog no.3
I liked it, but it was not as good as the Matrix, although it was better than Reloaded. The fight scene with Neo and Smith was cool, and the battle for Zion was the highlight of the film. I thought it was hilarous when Neo punches Smith's face in slo-mo and it goes all screwed up. Also it was not so good when the machines make a face to speak to Neo. That was unrealistic and generally crap.
