InitialD
Man!! from Episode 1 and 2, they were dancing and moving like awesome dancers with their lightsabers. All the back flips, the rolls, the turn swing snap etc... Then what the hell happened to Anakin Skywalker!? He had all the cool freestyle Jedi moves until Episode 4, him and Obi-Wan, all the normal lighsaber battle gone sour, no flibs, no turns, only snap, snap, snap..... Episode 5, Luke can't do ****, no spins, no flips, and Vader as well, hardly turned and fliped his body and danced around like when he was in Episode 2(u might say he is old but, Dooku and Yodi were alot older and they were able to do all the freestyle saber moves). And in Episode 6 Return of the Jedi, man Luke was bs all the way. His Jedi skills were appauling, the lightsaber dual with Vader in the Emperor's chamber was ****ty, only smack forward backward up and down, no turns or spins or any lightsaber dance at all like the good old Episode 1 and 2 days. They have suddenly gone all 'STIFF'! MAN THE JEDIS (Episode 4,5,6) HAVE LOST THEIR DANCING SPINING TURNING FLIPPING LIGHTSABER BATTLING MOVES! And one more thing, the Clone army in episode 2 looks mean, good and highly skilled and awsome, in episode 4,5,6 they became stormtroopers, the result? Slow, clumsey and useless. I mean they especially sucked in weapons and ships! If they are clones of Jango Fett, they should be a lot better even when they are stormtroopers shouldn't they!!!???? Lynk Former
Okay, to explain.... 1. THEY ARE MOVIES 2. The Original Trilogy lacked in any kewl lookin style because they couldn't really develop the fighting styles with the budget and actors they had. Imagine trying to be Sir Alec and trying to perform moves like Darth Maul, and imagine trying to move around in that god awful suit Vader has. 3. Lucas states that Obi-wan is an old man who can't move around as much as he used to and that Vader rely's more on his dark side powers than his lightsaber these days because of the massive injuries he sustained... *sigh i can't be bothered going any detailed* 4. The original trilogy (4, 5 and 6) were made in the 70s and 80s. Back then you didn't have all the hightech computer generated stuff and what is now state of the art equipment. You had basic movie making tools and they used them to the best of their abilities.

Sivy
the prequels were supposed to show the jedi in their prime. as lynk already said, in EP IV obi-wan was an old man and probably a bit rusty seeing as he hadn't duelled in 17 years.
Lynk Former
XD You know he sounds like he think episode 4, 5 and 6 were made AFTER 1, 2, and 3 (and we all know 3 hasn't even been finished yet!!)
Sivy
DARK HELMET:How could there be a cassette of Spaceballs-the Movie. We're still in the middle of making it. COL SANDURZ: That's true, sir, but there's been a new breakthrough in home-video marketing. DARK HELMET: There has? COL SANDURZ: Yes. Instant cassettes. They're out in stores before the movie is finished. XD

Skinkie
The more you clone something the more it looses genetic diversity, that eventually lead to dumb stormtroopers. At least thats my guess.

At least thats my guess. That's like copying a cassette tape over and over again, copying the copies: the quality gets worse every time. Nice theory.
