The_One
Kirk played a lead in Dirty Window Made it sound way better - plus the drums sound better live. I was not expecting in a million years for them to play Ride the Lightning - wasted all my energy on that song, one of my faves. Unfortunately, the sound at Earls Court isn't that good, but it didn't detract from the awesomeness of their performance. If that had been my first time seeing Metallica, I'd have been a bit disappointed, but when I saw them a few months back they played a load more off Master and Justice - so that kinda filled in the bits that were missing last night. Hopefully when I see them next they'll play some stuff off Load/Reload - all I've ever heard off them is "Fuel", and Load is full of classics. Gah, I got neck ache, and my ears hurt - well worth it mind

Jedi Luke
Well being a huge Metallica fan, I of course disagree. All their albums from Kill 'em all to the Black album absolutely ROCK!! But anything from Load onwards isn't up to the excellence of those albums from Kill em all to Black. As acrylic stated these albums from Load -> onwards REALLY lack the special Metallica feeling. The_One
Whilst I don't really like St Anger much, I have to say you'll be pleasantly surprised when you hear songs from it played live. Yes, they are completely lacking the "Metallica" feeling, but then again you can't really complain when on a tour for the album they only play 2 tracks from it I think Load is really underrated. I believe it to be one of the best Metallica albums, and is full of brilliant songs. I really missed nothing from Load or Reload being on the setlist, but hey, you can't have everything But hell, Ride the Lightning had to be one of the greatest few minutes of my life - my heart nearly exploded when I heard the opening few chords. Enter Sandman, whilst being (in my opinion) a very overrated song, was amazing - I've never felt so much energy in a crowd before, quite spectacular. ****, the whole concert was amazing
