JekRendar Posted February 22, 2004 Share Posted February 22, 2004 I've been gone, what now three weeks? Felt like eternity, though. I missed you guys. Truth be told, I lost interest in SWG. The only reason I stayed so long was you guys. Plus, I felt guilty for not saying good-bye. Anyways, I just came by the boards to check up on the news and WOW, lots of changed! First off, the new town. I had to laugh when I saw Grask is responsible for housing. Last time I was here, Grask was saying he'd check in, every now and then to see this! Wow. Second off, I TOLD YOU, I TOLD YOU, I TOLD YOU, Corellia would make a better planet. I even went so far as to accuse the leadership as to be part of the Episode I fan club, when we moved to Naboo. Lo and behold, I see "new town" "Corellia" and I was taken back. Moving on, Rohbb's little adventure in the PA Donation House. That's something. I never did trust that guy. Ahh well... I guess your wondering what I've been up to. Two words...City of Heroes. Heh, my main character is going to be named Rendar, so we can hook up in-game, in case you're wondering. The forums over there, consist of anti-SWG haters and I'm afraid to post anything pro-SWG, for fear of being flamed. I joined The Irregulars and made Rendar a part of the team. It should be interesting. I'm planning to stick SWG until CoH is released in (estimated) late April. Well, that's about it. If you're lucky, I'll be back in game later this week. Lo and behold, I see "new town" "Corellia" and I was taken back. First off, I don't like Ep. I, it was a major let down in many ways. But I love Naboo. I consider it the part of Corellia for people who don't like Corellia , that's why I love it so much. Where most of Corellia is barren crap lands , this is a beautiful wooded area. It's a lot more nice to look at for the most part, it's just as loaded with people as Corellia, if not more, and I can walk around in all the cities without worrying about game crashes or gigantic like (Coronet). The only reason I like this place, is because of it's atmosphere. Unlike the rest of corellia, there aren't fields of grain all throughout the area. We're in a nice forest. Being in the forest is a lot better then being out in the open like other cities. The trees make it so our city has a natural beauty, and we don't need to waste a lot of money on gardens. Jo Posted February 23, 2004 Share Posted February 23, 2004 yes, i went neutral because 1) i suck at PvP 2)i hate not being able to go to all places(IE: Factioned Towns, like be careful in Braxis, i got banned for no reason, and i was imp, waiting for the hour to be up for nuetral status) 3)i suck at PvP 4) its a waste of time as i dont buy faction perks As you can see...those are my reasons, neutral is pretty nice as of right now. and yes.. Being in a guild composed solely of one faction gets rather boring. Not as much diversty, if there's any. I'm not interested in fighting in the war. I see no benefit to it. Being neutral people less biased towards me. There's a lot of idiots out there, who can't see past the fact that you're rebel, imp, etc, and won't be your friends if you're oposing factions. Deft, I know you have Rebel friends. Your friendships are strong, but your faction orientations are RP basis only. Sorry if I make no sense, I'm tired. When does it normally take place? Fill me in the on leadership. From what Jo said in another post, he's sounds like a lower officer. Which reminds me, how's membership? Does the new city have a shuttleport yet? Not that it matters, it's less than 4k from KV. How's Rorana? Are my houses the only buildings there...hehe! Ya know, the very first player hunt I went on, just a few days after logging in was hunting a dark jedi south east of KV, I told some of you (who had the game at the time) about it. I'll have to search the area to see if there still is a spawn there. Ya know, I started in Kor Vella, I know the area well. During the first month, KV was BUSTLING! I went there about a month ago (remember, I haven't played in 3 weeks) and it was EMPTY! But, I remember Grask and I were talking about our days...oh the memories... Ah, well, anything else? X'ero, having seen his once good friend Vosh, in DS, on oposing sides, had a breakdown, and headed to the swamps, the closest thing to Naboo, on Corellia. We plan on doing some more things with RP.
