she could be getting a cesarean section. Cept they'd probably call it something else.

Back at you kind sir.

In order for our fair heroine to remember her mother, she must be of an appropriate age of cognitive skills. If Padme were to perish soon after the birth of her children then it would be quite impossible for Leah to have any recollection of her, nor would it be possible for her to differentiate the differences between Padme and her stepmother. Therefore, Padme must survive long enough into Leah's life for her to have at least a minimum of memories of her, limited as they are.

So, like I said, back at ya, duh.

I've heard no official confirmation padme dies. heck, how many movies thus far have we seen padme escape death...like 2 now? We thought she dead in the beginning of ep2. I'm not buying the she's dead thing. I think they might pull a fake again. I just have this feeling.

if you read it anakin is ashamed of what he has done. he didnt really want to kill her but she gave him no other choice. when she went to bring him back from the dark side he wouldnt take her seriously and offered to take her in. she says no and he gets angry. he chokes her and almost kills her. but they are able to save the twins and she dies. this all happens near the end. she wouldnt fake it cause she is in love with him and wants him back.

Luke said he has no memory of his mother and asks Leah if she has any of her mother, her "real" mother. They both recognize that Leah had an adopted mother and Leah could tell the difference, therefore Leah knew Padme at sometime at a very young age after the twins were born and separated.

you'll see. lucas is changing the story as he goes.

or perhaps Leia had a special connection with padme and via the force, could remember her mother. *shrugs*

Perhaps she felt that her adoptive mother (first one maybe) was her real mother. Who knows. and noone can say for sure that padme dies until episode 3 comes out.

IT is simple i saw a script for episode 3

palpatine shows anikan /now darth vader a crystal ball that shows padme dieing but it is indeed a lie that is why he turns

padme must have been hunted by palpatines asasins cause she was a threat to him remaining in power or something like bail organa was and stuff

She's either

1) dead

2) coma

3) drug induced sleep

4) sleeping

5) closing her eyes because the aliens scared her

And she's not wrapped up like she's dead - look at her skin tone. That is person who's alive. So I say coma or drug induced sleep. They could tell Obi and Yoda there is no hope for her. That she's going to die and they are keeping her "alive" via some sorta way to keep the babies from dying so they can deliver them. She looks clothed too, not naked or in a hospital gown. So I doubt she's given birth yet. My guess is pre birth and she's not dead. If she does die - its not in this picture.

Oh and p.s - supershadow = crap.

i cant imagine any reason strong enough for Anakin to turn to the dark side other than Padme's death. There is nothing else he cares about enough to, surely. I certainly dont think he'd turn against her.

Yes she will die. Padme after being informed by Kenobi of Annie behavior tells Kenobi where he is. When Annie discovers this he becomes enraged and attacks Padme with a force choke and throws her 9 month pregnant with twins body against a bulkhead.

Kenobi then duels Annie, chops off 1rst his leg, and then has to take off an arm, and at that point has no choice but to toss his unruly padawan into the fire. He then quickly get Padme medical attention. She delivers the 1rst baby (the girl) who she has a brief moment with before dying. They realize ther is another baby and quickly deliver luke.

not necessarily remember that Leia is probably as strong as Luke in the force, she just never trained so its entirely possible especially because Leia says she mostly remembers feelings about her mother remembers her connection to Padme through the force. its possible Luke has no such memory because Padme dies in between births maybe
