I like my Strat, but I really want to get one that meets the original specs, like a '54 or '57 re-issue, (since I don't imagine that I'll ever get my hands on a real one at this point.) To me that's what a real Strat is supposed to sound like! And most of my guitars (and amps for that matter) are hand-me-downs from my dad too! I bought the Les Pauls and the nylon string, and I paid for the PRS (although he's the one who found it and picked it out for me) but everything else is from him. Of course, he still has all the best ones for himself! Yeah, the Les Paul is a 25/50. One of the strats is the 40th anniversary 1994 model. Theyre my 2 main packhorses the other, i honestly dont know what it is... its fairly new. i assume its just some crappy el cheapo strat. i mean, its pink i'll look into it though. got me wondering now. That and i need my old man to keep teaching me... when i find the time.
