txa1265
It's out! Warning, though - it's 450MB!!! http://www.eidos.co.uk/downloads/demo.html ftp://ftp.eidos.co.uk/pub/uk/ThiefD.../Thief_Demo.exe I have the game (got it yesterday) and it is quite a bit of fun, less hardware intense than Deus Ex Invisible War. Kengo
Oooh. That's gonna be some download, but I have to check this demo out, thanks for the info! Sadly, after the rather sizable download, the (pretty damn buggy) DX2 demo rather put me off buying the game, hope that isn't the case here. txa1265
I put it this way ... I hated DX:IW, but am really enjoying Thief 3. I must say though, when I feel lag or see things that remind me of DX:IW ... it isn't a good thing Mike
StormHammer
I can't say I experienced any lag in the game - but I know the movement for Garrett in first person can appear laggy to some other people, because the camera is tied to a proper 3D animated model this time around. Anyway, I didn't notice anything like the kind of lag that I experienced in DX:IW. During my whole playthrough the game seemed quite smooth, and only stuttered once. If I can find a decent fps counter to use with the game, I'll have to check it. Mind you, I seem to be able to 'cope' with low fps. A game can appear quite smooth to me even at 20 fps, so maybe it's just me. Apart from some minor gripes, I liked what I played overall.
