bollywood films have always (at least until recently) taken a very stylised "mary poppins" attitude to everything (especially sex). Heck, until about 5 years ago you never, even saw the two romantic leads kiss (it was always a "star trek" style kiss where you didn't see contact... either that or they were interrupted by a dance number as their lips were about to touch:D )

I may be wrong, but i think there was a big outcry a few years back the first time there was an actual on screen kiss in a mainstream bollywood film.

Recently bollywood seems to be expanding it's range... there was even a cgi bollywood space alien film a while back.

So they seem to be advancing rapidly... but it isn't surprising a film about any alternative sexuality would be a shock, when they aren't that used to films dealing with "normal" sexuality either...

(bit like going back and showing a Chris Tucker movie to an audience that was still in shock from hearing "frankly my dear, i don't give a damn...".)

I don't recall any uproar on the first 'passionate kiss' and the space alien movie was 'Koi Mil Gaya'. A total crappy copy of ET if you ask me.

BTW, InsaneSith, that link no worky.

Btw, I will say that the gays I defended came to me and asked me how to get saved, I told them, and now they're on their way to glory.

I'm sorry many people don't see things the way I do, but I love my Jesus. :)

Alright

The God I know and love doesn't have sexual orientation criteria, regardless of what human and therefore very fallible scribes may have written in the Holy Bible, which although it's sacred is still just a book and subject to errors in transcription made by men with small minds.

I agree Kale, but you realise that this post started out about hot indian lesbians and is now inching towards the senate chambers..... :p
