te27ch Posted August 19, 2004 Share Posted August 19, 2004 Well, so currently, we have the 1.01 patch , the bonus maps, and the Siege Destroyer map. Here's my idea for a 1.02 patch: 1. Include the bonus maps and Siege Destroyer (for those who don't have them already) 2. Fix some things that people like to complain about (random saber damage, etc.) 3. Bots for siege, possibly courtesy of The Open Jedi Project 4. More cool bonus maps?? 5. They could make Korriban a bit more forbidding in SP mode. I mean c'mon, Korriban is supposed to be a planet that harbors the insidious remains of fallen Sith, a place that festers with the Dark side. The clear, sunny blue sky just doesn't cut it. They could make a sky covered with dark, angry clouds. Perhaps they could throw in some lightning bolts that crash down from the sky. To top off the feeling of evil the planet should evoke, they could insert sounds of a howling wind accompanied by voices whispering an ancient Sith chant, making it seem as if the stones themselves are alive with the power of the fallen Sith masters. Furthermore, Korriban should have Dark side creatures; nightmarish freaks of nature twisted by the Dark side that tirelessly guard the tombs, ensuring a painful and gruesome death to anyone foolish enough to disturb the tombs. They could have made some new enemy creatures to fill the role, such as vornskyrs (think demonic hell-hounds that hunt force users) or some of the creatures encountered on Korriban in KOTOR. Heck, just adding a few rancors would have been great. Yeah, those are some suggestions that come to mind right away for me. Some people hate patches because they wreck more things than they fix. They should leave whats good alone and just fix the bad stuff. But unfortionately they don't do both. Crap, why not make Darth Vader and Han Solo for MP, they could include the NPC file so you can spawn them in SP/MP whatever. They could fix all the sounds (so you don't have to listen to the aliens sound like people, or that "Take That!" taunt) Yeah ... more maps and models would be good. [/list=1] for #1, you can't do that because your demo only records what YOU see.
