Mountainforest Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Some friends couldn't use the internet after they installed it. After deinstalling Xfire, everything worked fine again. If someone experiences connection problems, you know what to do.
Alegis Posted September 16, 2004 Author Posted September 16, 2004 there used to be a fixed version for that here, http://www.xfire.com/xf/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=762 or here http://www.xfire.com/xf/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=268
Neon Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 What does that do? Does it also repair the login thing off me?
Alegis Posted September 17, 2004 Author Posted September 17, 2004 This solves the issue that your inet doesnt work after its installed, was cause norton bugged with it. I don't know what you mean with connection pointed somewhere else

Neon Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 I have both, but now my telenet is on, but do you think that makes sence?

I don´t think your connection would be the problem. Could you maybe explain your problem as good as possible? If you encounter problems with the translation, dutch is fine.

Neon Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Yeah, I just can't login, I forgot the message that it gives, because I deleted X-Fire. But hang on, I'll search for it.
Neon Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Ok, I found it, when I log in it says: Your DNS server couldn't recognize a required host name.

IA~StarFire Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Quote Originally posted by Alegis small announcement, xfire will update swbf by the end of the week (next update) Good deal. Now I can see the rest of Team IA when they're playing and hopefully avoid the server browser war. XFire: winterknight Tell me that you're from the boards though.
Alegis Posted September 24, 2004 Author Posted September 24, 2004 Xfire has added sw:bf! Now i'm going to do everything different. I made a new account, swbattlefront and we'll use that as a ring. You just havr to add that account, and you'll be able to see all the others in friends of friends and then easily add them. I think this saves a lot of trouble. I will add those that already posted their account later, those who post after this please add swbattlefront to your friends list.
